Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is only a couple of months old, but there is already talk that he might follow in his mother's footsteps as far as fashion is concerned. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is known for her fashion style. Everything she wears in public is sold out within hours.

Fashion experts say the Duchess of Sussex might hire a baby stylist for her and Prince Harry's son that was born on May 6, 2019. Juliet Angus, a fashion blogger who lives in London, stated that the Duchess of Sussex already has some ideas of what she wants her son's wardrobe to include. Angus believes in the years to come, the proud mother will hire a baby stylist for Archie. However, that is just speculation because of Meghan's fondness for fashion. In fact, she knows enough about fashion to do her own shopping for him instead of hiring someone else to do it for her and Archie.

Another royal expert, Emma Kendall, shared that she thinks Meghan is not going to spare any expense when it comes to dressing Archie when he is a little older because money is definitely not a problem for any member of the royal family.

Archie has been seen wrapped in white blankets.

The public has seen Archie only in a few photos since his birth. All the photos show him wrapped in a white blanket. Two days after his birth, his parents showed him off at St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England. He was wrapped in a white blanket.

When he was christened in a private ceremony at Windsor Castle on Saturday, July 6, 2019, he wore a lace white gown that other royal babies have worn over the years. He was seen again on July 10 at his father's polo match along with his cousins. Again he was wrapped in a white blanket with gold trim. For those reasons, Kendall believes many of Archie's outfits will be gender neutral colors.

Archie probably will not dress like his cousins.

When Archie is a little older and is out and about more often, it will not be a surprise to see him dressed in outfits that are nothing like what Prince George and Prince Louis usually wear.

Prince George of Cambridge, 5, is often seen wearing shorts and knee socks. That's because there is a rule that little boys should wear that ensemble until they are eight years old. It is a rite of passage to go from shorts to long trousers. Prince George, Prince Louis, and other young boys follow a British royalty and aristocracy tradition that dates back to the 1500s. Prince William and Prince Harry are pictured wearing short pants and knee socks when they were under the age of 8.

In fact, Prince George and Prince Louis have been seen wearing Prince William and Prince Harry's hand-me-downs. Prince Louis wore the same outfit to his debut at Trooping the Colour that his uncle Prince Harry wore to his own debut in 1986.

The Duchess of Sussex has said in interviews that she wants her children to follow American as well as British traditions. Therefore, that includes how Archie will be dressed.

Will Archie add to British economy?

Whatever members of the royal family wear helps boost the economy. Children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge contribute a lot to the economy. It is no surprise that the brothers contribute much less than their sister.

Princess Charlotte's combined contributions are expected to be about $4.5 billion during her lifetime. Little royal girls add much more to the economy than her male siblings. That's because girls require more items to get dressed. Hair bows, ribbons, makeup, and accessories are factors to be considered along with their outfits, socks, and shoes.

Princess Charlotte's older brother, Prince George, is predicted to add only about $3.4 billion to the British economy during his lifetime. Prince Louis is expected to add even less to the economy because he is further down the line.

It is rather early, but a retail expert told Hello Magazine that Archie could possibly help increase sales in children's clothes and other items by about $1.5 billion over the next two years.
