In a world were we are told to conform to unrealistic beauty expectations, it feels good to know that in culture there is still a niche for all of us to find our belonging. We shouldn’t forget that Power is influence over external events and our peace will be rooted in our influence over internal events.

You need peace to keep power, or the internal will burn up all your mental capacity. For me, meditation and exercise have helped bring mental peace better than anything else. You’ve got to be able to release stored energy from your body and mind.

Our Genesis

In early 2018 after noticing a giant space in the Fashion world for clothes that had elegance, style and that where ethnically inclined to its designers roots and inspiration, made launching Edikan Moses™ very necessary.

A humble and confident person reflects the sanity of the mind, for humility and confidence are not exclusive, so you can be humble and still project confidence.

It’s only the confidence that express humility. Real confidence is not to enter a room and think that you are superior. Real confidence is to enter a room and think that everybody is equal.

I decided to incorporate my vast knowledge and expertise from my African roots with a mixture of various men’s & women’s style information that has lead into great simplistic fashion aspirations that people desire worldwide.

There is always something to be grateful for and different angles from which to look at things.

Gratitude is a creative and building perspective and will always bring more good to you and empower you.

The opposite also makes sense. Externally, be confident, to gain more trust. Internally, be humble, to seek new knowledge and cover blind spots.

Externally, be humble. Internally, be confident. Don’t read humility as a sign of incompetence.

Do not be arrogant. Do not be timid. Exude a humble confidence.

Confidence is the result of a lot of practice (in your field or activity). Humility is the result of being honest with yourself, that you’re not better (or worse) than anyone else.

Humble + confident = self-confidence pride + confident = overconfidence.

The cost of hardship is paid every day. The cost of easy compounds and is paid once. To achieve anything worthwhile in this world, would require your blood sweat, and tears.

Our journey of thousand miles must start with a wonderful step forward. Easy choices lead to an overall harder life, but harder choices with extreme discipline lead to an easier life.

When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. When life is bitter, say thank you and be humble.

Contentment is one thing that give me inspiration to design and it’s a lost art in our society today, for we should never forget to be grateful every day.

Always count your blessings. We should be grateful that we are able to see this message with our eyes.

Many in the are not as fortunate as us. So instead of feeling sad about the things we do not have currently, be grateful for the things we are endowed. Practice gratitude.

Everything which I have now was once in my wish list. I was always dreaming to own a startup. Now I have. Yet, most of the times i forget to appreciate it. Same with my lifestyle now. I should be more happier than ever before.

People in the first world often don’t know how good they have it.

If we did not compare, we’d fail to see and fight injustice. Even primates compare (look up the grape experiment). Comparing is as natural as breathing. It has an evolutionary purpose. It is not good or bad.

What you have can no longer be in your possession moments from now. Rejoice in the present and think for the future. Comparison is the mother of depression. Don’t fall for her allure.

Constantly comparing yourself and achievements to other people is a good recipe for feeling like crap all the time.

Having said that, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t set high goals
