You can complain about all of the rules in our lives, but not all of them are intended to bind us. Some are actually intended to assist us. One of them knows how to dress properly, whether you dress at home wearing handloom lungi or dress for a party.

We all have our own experiences, and we are sure we all speak from our own personal wisdom, or so we believe. However, what works for you may not work for someone else. And what you consider to be simple may be avant-garde for someone else out there.

So, when it comes to dressing, you have no choice but to accept it on its face. Instead of being the last word on fashion, make some good suggestions!

However, good advice is not something to be sniffed at, and as men's fashion becomes more varied and experimental, it certainly helps to have a valuable fall-back position that cuts through the confusing clutter.

Wear your suit well

It should be a good fit. You should concentrate on the fit across the shoulders because altering the chest and waist is a relatively simple task that may not require as much detailing. Classic is the best and most useful option – dark, two-button, single-breasted, with moderate details.

Invest wisely in a watch

They say a watch is a work of art; therefore, choose it because you love it rather than because you like it. Aesthetic, functional, goes with everything, and can withstand the rigours of daily wear However, it must fit you.

You should feel at ease and ensure that the size and depth are appropriate for your wrist.

Why be afraid of colors?

Why not add some colour to your wardrobe, whether formal or casual? Most men are afraid of it, even intimidated by it, and opt for grey, black, or navy – essentially living a safe life. What they don't realise is that colour, like fashion, can be timeless. Pinks, greens, mustard, and yellow can provide you with the wardrobe boost you've been looking for. Shades that will work for you all year are not difficult to find – so why hide?

Spend some money on shoes

Don't be picky about the colour, pattern, or sole of your shoes. It may appear attractive now, but you will soon dismiss them as boring and strange. Always go for classic styles like brogues, loafers, or a plain, dark Derby that will last you a long time.

Ready to break the rules?

There is a time for a black tie and then there is a time when it is "not the right time." Some rules are meant to exist and serve a purpose because the occasion calls for it, but it doesn't hurt to break the rules in between to ensure that the life of your wardrobe serves as a medium of upgrading for others as well.
