How to Use Social Login with Vocal

Password fatigue be gone! We know how tiring it is to create (and remember) different passwords for numerous websites. That’s why we added Social Login to your Vocal account. With one click, you can connect Vocal to your pre-existing social profiles. There’s no need to create a separate password anymore!

No more failed logins, confusing passwords, or difficulty accessing your account. And we’ll never post anything without your permission. Read on to learn more about connecting your Vocal account to one of your social profiles.

New Vocal Account

When creating a new Vocal account, choose “Join” in the upper right-hand corner. From there, you’ll see four options:

• Continue with Facebook
• Continue with Twitter
• Continue with Google
• Sign up with Email

Facebook, Twitter, and Google are the Social Login options we provide Vocal creators. When clicking on Facebook, for example, you will be brought to Facebook’s site and see a pop-up that says “Vocal would like to access your information.” By hitting “continue,” you will have successfully paired your new Vocal account to your social profile. Easy!

Existing Vocal Account

If you are an existing Vocal user and would like to connect your social profile, please make sure that the email you originally signed up with—which you can see via “Settings”—matches the email associated with your social account. If it does not, you will be creating a new Vocal account separate from the original one you signed up with. This new account will not have your already published articles, earnings, and stats. This is a no-no that you definitely want to avoid!

Choose “Sign In” from the upper right-hand corner. From there, you’ll see four options:

• Continue with Facebook
• Continue with Twitter
• Continue with Google
• Sign in with Email

Choose one of the three social options, and follow the same instructions as detailed above.

In addition, please make sure that you are logged into your own Facebook/ Twitter/Google, and not someone else’s!
