It sometimes feels, after you've mixed a few drinks, that no one is creative anymore when asking for special cocktails. White Russian. Manhattan. Screw-driver. Long island ice tea. Every recipe is the same. Every one of them, snatched up from the same reprinted volume of classic drinks. Everyone knows what they are, so is there any point really getting creative when everyone drinks the same thing?

Stop it. Pick yourself up. A whole universe of creative cocktails exists at your doorstep. Rum, whiskey, vodka, tequila--all of them are stepping stones to the ultimate drink Nirvana! There are a multitude of cocktail books with creative, new, and delicious recipes for you to try, if only you take the initial risk...by experimenting.

Everyone loves book related puns. Or at least maybe losers who love books like yours truly do.

Either way, any book that starts off with a To Kill a Mockinbird pun is going to catch the eye of those glancing over it, but that pun is only just the beginning.

This book comes full of drinks to combine with your reading time--65 drink recipes, all inspired by famous works of literature you may have on your bookshelf right now.

Perfect drinks for a book club. Grab a few bottles of whiskey and rum, and get mixing.

From the author who brought your our prior entry comes the cinematic equivalent.

This creative cocktail book is full of drinks inspired by your favorite classic film. These are the perfect beverages for sitting back, watching an old cinematic classic with a good drink.

Of course, this might also catch the eye of anyone who likes a little gin--but the book is full of other recipes, not all of which depend on gin. You might be a vodka drinker, after all.

This book is perfect for anyone looking for some creative cocktail recipes for you and a few of your friends on movie night.

Two professors share a few Shakespeare inspired cocktail recipes to help carry you through your daily drama.

Obviously, these drinks reference the bard's classic plays, so, if you possess an English degree, you might get more of a hoot out of the various beverages in the book.

For everyone else, however, you can enjoy some rum, whiskey, and gin based cocktails in this recipe book. Drinking so rarely comes across this classy and sophisticated. Or punny.

To the unburdened, enlightened mind, it is sometimes necessary to disengage from the stressful day-to-day burdens of reality. In cases like these, you need a visit from your friends Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, and Grey Goose.

These recipes are ideal for any drinking night, with tons of specialty drinks incorporating healthy ingredients for not only an enjoyable night of cocktail drinking, but also one that leaves your body pure and clean after the fact.

The title is obviously a pun on Pirates of the Caribbean. But before you start flailing about asking "Why's the rum gone?" consider, if you will, what this book is offering.

This little volume contains seventy-seven Caribbean cocktail recipes. Some, according to our author, have either been lost to time or never recorded in print before. This little book is a treasure trove of tropical beverages.

Of course, using this book is a fine idea if you're up for a night of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow sailing the seas, just as it's a good drink menu for a trip to the beach at sunset. Either way, you should find what you're looking for.

To the uninformed, the Dead Rabbit may sound like an odd title for a cocktail recipe book. I'm sure deceased mammals are the last visual you want when you pick up your rum cocktail drink.

The Dead Rabbit is, in actuality, an award-winning New York Bar. This book is written by its founders--including a history of the bar and its rise to prominence. It also shares its masterful recipes that brought it so much fame in the first place.

While the Dead Rabbit may sound like a strange name, it is in actuality an emblem of quality for this little book.

More than just a guidebook on recipes, this book provides a history of cinema's favorite cocktails and drinks.

How often have you watched The Big Lebowski, and wanted a White Russian while watching it? Or envied James Bond as he sips his martinis?

With this book at your side, you have a guide to match up your favorite drinks with your favorite films, and, in turn, you can figure out the ideal way to combine visual storytelling with decadent beverages.

1,400 shot recipes. The title isn't lying. You aren't getting a couple drinks. If you took three shots every day, a different shot every time, you still wouldn't finish this tall order of a book.

When you hear of shots, you may be thinking of tequila or whisky. Maybe vodka. Not the complex cocktail concoctions this book provides.

This book is best for a party environment. Show it off to your friends, and spread the love of creative, delicious, and highly satisfying shots with the whole crew.

Cocktail recipes can be complicated. "1.6 ounces of tequila (patron), 2.3 ounces of bitters, 0.333... ounces of rum..." It gets complicated, and you don't want to do math when you're just mixing up a few fun drinks.

So enter this creative titled book (Periods make titles 32.47 percent more interesting.). This book grants you the ability to craft fifty cocktails (more, even!) that come in equal parts. Equal.

Okay, the math pun gloves come off now. Cocktails are rough. Make it easier without needing to worry about measuring and weighing the ingredients.

Smuggler's Cove is the most successful Tiki Bar opened up. The name of the book serves as both a mark of quality and also an invitation to a realm of mystery beyond what we as normal people know.

This is no ordinary cocktail recipe book. It is not simply a guide-book on drinking recipes full of rum. This is an invitation to mystery. A quest, one could say, that will open the gateway to a realm of mysteries.

That's what a creative title can do for a book. It turns what would be just another cocktail recipe book by award winners into a quest that must be undertook!

Are you ready?
