Self sabotaging thoughts of a lovesick poet

By K FPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

In the twilight of our conversations, shadows loom,

Whispers of doubt like the rustling leaves,

Each word a fragile thread, trembling in the breeze,

Afraid that silence might sever what we've woven.

Beneath the canopy of shared moments, I stand,

Eyes tracing the constellations of your smile,

Yet, the night sky holds the fear of darkened stars,

Wondering if the light we share will fade.

In the garden of our connection, flowers bloom,

But the fear of winter chills my heart,

Petals of affection might fall with the frost,

Leaving only the memory of their scent.

Yet, hope springs eternal in the heart's quiet corners,

Dreams of a garden where our roots intertwine,

Where each day brings new blossoms, vibrant and true,

And our connection deepens with the passing seasons.

In the symphony of shared moments, I find solace,

Notes of laughter and whispers of understanding,

Building a melody that echoes through our days,

Hoping our harmony only strengthens with time.

Together, I envision us beneath the same sky,

Hands entwined, hearts beating in unison,

Nurturing our bond with every tender glance,

And watching our connection flourish, evermore.
