Keith Haring: Innovative Art
Keith Herring, truly on artistic original. His work was a type of street art that no one sent him has done, and no one after him has done it either. One word that describes the artwork of Keith Haring is innovated an unprecedented. His works of art also socially conscious statements for example, Keith had contracted aids, and so in his artwork, he often did pieces that raise the awareness of the disease and for cure. Keith was also a publicly out of the closet, gay man, who, also in his work addressed issues important in the gay and lesbian communities.

Boy George’s autobiography is a great read. It was released in 1995 written by Boy George, of course. Basically, he tells his life story before Culture Club, in, after and solo. I loved reading his autobiography, in fact I had always wanted to read it, and I finally had a chance. To read the book is like you are sitting in a English pub with Boy George having a drink or two and he’s telling you how it was.

Info-dump chapter! I had a lot I wanted to say in the last chapter and a few different places I wanted to take it; but for those who want to know more, there’s plenty more to know - and like a good little philosophy blogger, telling you all about it can raise plenty more questions!

my grandmother and I used to watch the nanny all of the time and for that reason, this sitcom will always have a special place in my heart. Originally, airing on CBS, the nanny is about a nice Jewish girl from Flushing, queens, who got kicked out by her ex-boyfriend from their relationship and his bridal shop, and that in the shows theme song is explained.

in the late 1990s, iconic drag queen RuPaul had a talk show on VH1, and the show was really good. Roo was always joined on stage with her best friend and assistant Michelle visage. In my personal point of view, the RuPaul talk show was really a good and entertaining late night talk show to watch. Well, the show was on the air. Some notable guests that came to mind are Dennis Rodman, who RuPaul kissed on one episode. Other notable guests were the B-52, the late Olivia, Newton-John, and MDO – another incarnation of Menudo, these are the few that came to my mind initially. I have never forgotten the memorable moment on the show, when Dennis Rodman and RuPaul shared a kiss on the lips. RuPaul’s opinion of the kiss and Dennis’ lips were that it was “nice and juicy.”

Gentles & Lady-Men! VENUS VALLEY sees the queer in Shakespeare (part 1)
Welcome to a chapter I’ve been waiting and wanting to write for a while, because it’s one of the fun chapters of this book-in-progress! If you’re just joining in, you’ve found the chapter-by-chapter release of my LGBTQIA+ centric philosophy chat book, in which your inputs will shape my edits til the finished book says what my beloved brave and beautiful rainbow flag community want people to know, rather than just me being a look-how-clever-I-am philosopher. I’ve learned a big lesson in writing as I’ve tried to rush my way to this chapter, as things I’ve tried to squeeze in quickly have shouted at me from the page, that they deserve real space to speak. So feel free to click a link I’ll put in later, where you can see the focus I’ve given about philosophies ancient and modern from outside my own sphere of knowledge, learning as I teach; or read on for the first in a set of upcoming chapters where I’ll have fun indulging my biggest fandoms and dig into some of the deeper philosophies behind them. Welcome, queerly beloveds, to Venus Valley: Queer Philosophers’ Forum!
