a version of Cinderella set in the world of fashion
If the shoe fits is an adaptation of the Cinderella fairy tale set in the fashion world. I like the premise of this you have Jennifer Grey's character who is the Cinderella and Rob Lowe's character who represents Prince charming but in this case is a leader of a fashion house. I saw this movie only once on the Disney Channel in the early 90's but it never left my mind. The movie is set in Paris, France which had always been a go to city of fashion and style so it makes sense that it should take place there.
