More thoughts of a lovesick poet

By K FPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

In the orchard of my life, she's the ripest fruit on the bough,

Eyes like a harvest moon, to which all my tides bow.

Her gaze, a constellation of untold stories, soars,

A celestial map that my weary soul adores.

She is the sun-dappled path through the forest of my days,

Her laughter, the babbling brook that through the silence plays.

Her touch, a summer breeze that whispers through the trees,

Stirring the leaves of my heart with effortless ease.

Her words, a tapestry woven from the finest golden thread,

A tapestry where love and destiny are seamlessly wed.

Her spirit, a wildflower field, untamed and free,

A vibrant canvas of life, as far as the eye can see.

She is the gentle pull of the moon on the ocean of my mind,

A tide of affection that's both fervent and kind.

Her essence, a metaphor for beauty pure and true,

A love that transcends, in every hue.

In the art gallery of existence, she's the masterpiece hung high,

A work of love and light, that draws the deepest sigh.

She's the poetry in the mundane, the rhythm in the rhyme,

The angelic eyed girl who makes every moment sublime.

She is the lighthouse in life's relentless storm,

In her embrace, I find the hearth, so soft and warm.

She feels like home, the fire's steady burn,

In her gaze, the world's cacophony takes a gentle turn.

With every shared secret, every knowing glance,

She's the muse of my spirit, the heart of my dance.
