Tecno Spark 10 Pro with 90Hz LCD display launched

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is a smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, Tecno Mobile. It was released in August 2020 as an upgraded version of the Tecno Spark 5 Pro.

Tecno's latest release, the Spark 10 Pro, is an entry-level smartphone, and the company has not yet shared any information regarding its availability and pricing. The phone will be offered in two colour options - Starry Black and Pearl White - and will come in two RAM and storage configurations.

This is the company’s first Spark series phone with a Glass Back Panel Design, which it calls hard-wearing glass with a unique starry glass.

Display:

Many mobile brands choose to showcase their new phones at MWC 2023, and TECNO is no exception, as the SPARK series has finally added a new member. Although we were not able to be there, we still got this SPARK 10 Pro in advance.

The Spark 10 Pro features a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It has a waterdrop-style notch at the top of the screen.

Processor:

The device is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, which is an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz.

It also has a Power VR GE8320 GPU.

Memory:

The Spark 10 Pro comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB of additional storage.

Tecno has launched a new smartphone in its Spark series. The Tecno Spark 10 Pro comes packed with a MediaTek chipset, a high-refresh-rate display, a large battery, and a dual-camera setup.

Camera:

The device has a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

In terms of optics, the device is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an unspecified AI lens, accompanied by an LED flash on the back panel. On the front, it houses a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, which comes with a dual LED flashlight.

Battery:

The Spark 10 Pro has a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. It also has a reverse charging feature that allows it to charge other devices.

As mentioned earlier, Tecno is still to reveal the official pricing of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro, but the rumour mill suggests that the device will launch in two memory configurations. While the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is expected to cost around $122 (roughly Rs 10,000), the 256GB variant could be priced a little higher. Price reveal is expected to happen in the next couple of weeks.

Other features:

The device runs on Android 10 with Tecno's HiOS 7.0 skin on top. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock, and dual SIM support.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is equipped with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It supports various connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging, and it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone's dimensions are 168.41 × 76.21 × 8.46mm.
