FINDSTORY

I'm excited to take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of Findstory, the stock footage production company I work for. As a member of the production team, I'm intimately familiar with the process of creating high-quality stock footage that meets the needs of our customers.

At Findstory, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality stock footage that meets the needs of our customers. It all starts with an idea. Our production team sits down and brainstorms concepts for the footage we want to create. We take into account factors such as the style, resolution, and subject matter to make sure it meets the needs of our customers.

Once we have a concept we're happy with, it's time to move on to the production phase. If we're shooting on location, we'll use high-end equipment like professional-grade RED cameras, Zeiss lenses and ARRI lighting, tripods, gimbals, etc. We may even use drones or other aerial equipment to capture footage from unique perspectives.

Before we start filming, we'll scout the location to make sure it's suitable for the type of footage we want to create. This could involve taking test shots to see how the lighting and camera settings work in the environment. We'll also assess any safety concerns and obtain any necessary permits before filming.

During the filming process, our team members work together to capture the best possible footage. We may have a director, camera operator, lighting technician, and other team members working together to make sure the footage is shot correctly. We take photos of our equipment, team members in action, and the environment in which the footage is captured. These photos are useful for showing the behind-the-scenes process of how the footage was created.

Once we've captured all the footage, it's time to edit. We go through all the footage, select the best clips, and cut them down to the desired length. We'll also add any necessary effects or color correction to ensure the footage looks amazing.

Quality control is a critical part of the process. We check for issues such as poor lighting, blurry footage, or excessive noise before the footage is uploaded to our website: findstorynow.com

At Findstory, we know that creating high-quality stock footage is just the beginning. To make it easy for our customers to find the footage they need, we have a team dedicated to keywording and categorizing our footage. This is an important step in ensuring that our customers can quickly and easily find the footage they're looking for.

Keywording involves adding descriptive words and phrases to each video clip so that it can be easily found through search. We carefully analyze each clip to determine the most relevant keywords and phrases. This can include everything from the subject matter to the location and even the camera angle. By adding these keywords to each clip, we ensure that our customers can easily find the footage they need.

In addition to keywording, we also curate our footage into collections based on themes or categories. This makes it easy for our customers to browse through related footage and find what they need quickly. For example, we may have a collection of footage that's perfect for business videos, or a collection of aerial footage that's ideal for documentaries. By organizing our footage into collections, we make it easy for our customers to find what they need without having to search through hundreds of clips.

In summary, keywording and categorizing our footage is an important part of our production process at Findstory. By doing so, we ensure that our customers can quickly and easily find the footage they need, whether they're searching by keyword or browsing through our curated collections.

Creating stock footage is a complex process that requires a high level of skill and expertise. But it's also incredibly rewarding to see the finished product and know that we're providing our customers with footage that meets their needs.

I hope this behind-the-scenes look at Findstory has given you a greater appreciation for the time and effort that goes into creating stock footage. The next time you use stock footage in your video projects, you'll know just how much work went into producing it. We will be happy to see you among findstorynow.com users!
