Things Our Rescue Pitbull Does

He's the sweetest boy ever. Although he has scars and he's been shot at with bird shot (metal bb's), he's still the sweetest boy ever.

He loves his belly rubs and he loves to snuggle. He loves to hang out, even if you're watching a movie or cooking. He even hangs out in the bathroom while you're taking a shower. He'll be happy to plop himself down and wait for you to get out so he can get some cuddles.

He's our little roadblock. He'll plop himself down just about anywhere, as long as he's in front of you. If you're in the hallway, he'll plop himself right in the middle of it so that you can’t get past him. If you're going up the stairs, he'll stop at the top of the stairs and he'll plop himself down right there, so you can't go any further (he only does this because he wants belly rubs, and he'll get all the belly rubs because he's so darn cute) .

He doesn't bark. When we take him on walks around the complex, as soon as other dogs hear his little clinks from his collar, they start to bark, and we walk him early (7:30 AM-8 AM). We always feel bad, but he doesn't bark so it's not our fault, I swear!!

He loves to sleep with us, he loves to come right in between mama and papa. He loves to be surrounded by people he loves, and people who love him. He enjoys just about anyone's company too!! (He has a little separation anxiety) .

If he's laying down on his back and he has his paws up, he is very comfortable. He will stay in that position until he has to stretch.

He's not too great at climbing up. He can't climb up the back of the car. He'll put his paws up, but he can't lift himself.

He has dreams, and you know his dreams are good when he's barking and his little feet are moving up and down.

He loves being outside, but he also loves good stay-in movie/sleep time.

He loves to play with dada. He loves to run around and give play/love bites. But if you pretend that he hurt you, he'll give you lots of kisses.

He protects the mama. Dada pretends to play attack mama, and Bellamy comes and protects mama from dada.

He has the biggest smile when we give him lots of hugs.

When we leave to go to work and we come back, you go into our room and you make eye contact, and he will wag his tail like crazy.

When he's excited/happy, he has a wiggle butt and he can't contain his excitement/happiness that he has to have a toy in his mouth!!

He loves other doggies and he just wants to play, so he pulls a little but he's gotten a lot better since being with him for almost six months.

He loves cats!!! More like he just wants to sniff them and play, but of course cats do not want that.

He's a little beggar. He sees you have food and he will stare you down.

He knows to come to mama for the food/treats/snacks.

He won grandma Frannie's Heart.

He hates getting a bath, but right after he finishes his bath and gets dried, he gets zoomies!!

If he's super excited, and he can't contain it, he will get zoomies, jumping up and down the bed, going up and down the stairs, jumping up on mama and dada.

He is gentle when it comes to taking snacks.
