    Things Our Rescue Pitbull Does

He's the sweetest boy ever. Although he has scars and he's been shot at with bird shot (metal bb's), he's still the sweetest boy ever.

    Thank You, I Love You

    Thank You, I Love You

I’m so thankful to have found you. You have changed my life forever. What was once full of confusion and saddened days, you brought light and joyful ways. To you my love, I will always be grateful. I will always remember the first time I saw you, with your grown out beard and your uncut hair. You were so full of life and seemed as if nothing ever went wrong. I sat next to you, trying not to be the shy girl I am. I somehow found the courage to try and speak up, even though it wasn’t directed at you. I was always so shy when it came to meeting new people, especially someone as handsome as you. We went to dinner with our friends, I sat awkwardly at the end of the table without any room, and I decided I’d get up, finding the courage to grab a chair and sit next to you. At the end of the night, I ached to know you more. Thank god I did because you’re an amazing person. I never knew how easy loving someone was until I fell in love with you. You make life so much easier. I knew I’d found the one when I didn’t want you to ever leave my side. I knew my heart would love you forever because you’ve made me the happiest girl in the world—and still continue to. You always tried your hardest to make sure that I was happy and smiling. You never wanted to see me sad or mad. You always wanted to see my smiling face. I love everything there is about you. You’ve taught me life lessons, and you’ve taught me to be patient—although sometimes you know that I stray from my patience. You’ve taught me to find peace in my heart and I love that I find peace in you as well. You’ve been through so much and I hope I can be your safe haven. I hope I make your life as easy as you’ve made mine. I’m so glad that you find that same peace in me as I do in you. I can’t wait for our future together, working on our passion for cars and our kids running around the house. You always wanted to be the cool dad who never got mad at the kiddos. (Of course you want to be the good cop.) And of course, I am the mom who will scold them. (The bad cop.) But all in all, you have the most positive outlook in life despite what you have seen and experienced in your past. You’re always so good to me and always made sure that I am okay. Thank you for comforting me all the times I broke down. Thank you for making me smile and laugh when I’m feeling down. Thank you for all the countless jokes that you’ve told me just to see me smile. Thank you for always making sure that I’m okay. Thank you for loving me despite my flaws. Thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself. I love the way you love me in ways I’ve never been loved before. I love the way you care so much for my well-being, and you go out of your way to make me happy. I love the way you look at me and the smile that follows along with it. I love the way you cheer me up even on my lowest days. I love the way you comfort and reassure me of all your love for me on days it’s hard for me to see. I love the way you touch my soul just reading every piece of me. I love the way you know me in ways I’ve never shown anyone. I love the way you love me. Thank you, I love you.
