dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
A Good Name
The banner, several stories tall and proclaiming, “Marry Chriatmas!” would stay up until after I left the city six months later. But on Christmas Eve of 2007, I had no way of knowing this. It was just part of the noisy cultural schizophrenia in one of the world’s largest cities, only noticeable because of its size. Though nearly midnight, the street’s ambience was that of midafternoon. Food vendors called out to passersby. Couples laughed and argued and milled about, looking at cheap toys and carnival style games. My teeth chattered.

It’s nice when you are scrolling through social media and you come across a video of a sweet dog. Then, you realise it’s a rescue dog and your heart breaks.

Fay McFarlanePublished 3 years ago in PetlifeWhat should I do if the dog has no energy all day?
A healthy dog should be happy and energetic every day. If one day you find that the dog is not energetic and listless all day, then you must look into the reason. No matter what causes the dog to lose energy all day, as a parent, you should think of ways to solve this problem and make your dog healthy and happy.
My Little Man Daymon
It has been 24 hours now since this little 4-month-old tan and black Chiweenie has entered what I call "the dog house." The dog house is a 2-story 200-year-old white farmhouse with a 6-foot chain-link fence that has tension wire all the way around. The yard has 3 sections which can be separated simply by closing the gates. There are two doors out the back porch or what was more commonly known as a 'mud room.'
Ahowan ICrowPublished 3 years ago in PetlifeIs It Safe To Get Your Dog Groomed During Covid-19 Outbreak?
Although the pandemic has taken over the entire world, one can’t deny that not everything can come to a grinding halt. Let’s take our dogs as an example. Dogs need regular grooming and care to maintain their fur. One can’t let a dog be with grooming for long, as it may result in the presence of ticks and various other problems. However, experts have suggested that grooming your dog during the pandemic is a bad idea. One can’t deny the fact that getting a pet groomed inevitably brings people closer together, and raises the risk of coronavirus transmission for both the pet owner and the groomer. When the nations demand people to stay at home, they do so because of the ongoing trouble of transmission. Staying at home isn’t just for us, it’s for our entire families, and dogs are a part of our families.

If you’ve ever thought about getting a dog, this is a story you should read. August 22 is Shiloh’s gotcha day!! It’s been one year and a half since I picked this little guy up at the shelter. He’s nothing that I expected to bring home or wanted to bring home, but he’s everything that I needed and he needed me too. Sometimes, the thing you least expect to happen can be the greatest thing to change your life!

I look at you and I feel an incredible love. You have been everything that a creature like myself could have asked for from someone who took care of them. As soon as I saw you that day through the glass of my prison I knew it was you. You’d be the person who would take care of me. So I tried to get your attention. I jumped, screamed, turned around in circles around my cell, and when I stopped to see if my stunts were working, I could tell right away from your gaze that I had captured your heart. You were mine. All of a sudden I was in your arms, and from that moment onwards we’ve been inseparable. It’s true that sometimes I felt a bit smothered, but I can’t deny that I enjoyed all the attention. A lot.

If you had to do it all over again, would you still do it, even knowing how it would end? June 28, 2018 had been a stiflingly hot day, humid, with dense heavy air. When I walked out of the animal hospital around five o’clock, the clouds finally cracked open and it began to pour. Pickwick would have hated this. He hated walking in the rain. But that didn’t matter now. Pickwick was gone.

I often fantasized about what it would be like to be a dog. Especially, on any given Monday morning. I would much rather stand guard over my house, and never leave it, ever. To have someone feed me every meal, tell me how good I am, and invite me into bed every night to cuddle… Well, that sounds almost like heaven.
My dangerous encounters with pit bulldogs
Pit Bull Lovers Be Ware I was walking in a local park today and saw what I consider to be a most ugly sight. I am used to seeing pet owners walking what I consider to be family friendly dogs but on this occasion, I noticed 2 women and a man who each were attempting to walk pit bulls. The dogs were actually dragging the owners and I wondered why they brought these beasts to a park when they could not handle them. The canines were huge and imposing and I cannot imagine anyone considering such an animal as a pet.
