Samoyed can not run other dogs

Sullenness and not eating

The owner, Bender, wouldn't have thought that his Samoyed would fall into anxiety just because he couldn't outrun other dogs.

After taking his dog to the vet, the doctor told Bender that Samoyed might be "depressed".

A month or so ago, Bender took his Samoyed with a friend on a trip to the countryside.

The friend had a spotted dog.

Bender's Samoyed was so happy to see the spotted dog that he went over to play with the spotted dog.

As a result, the friend said, let's let the two dogs run to see who is faster.

Bender didn't think much of it, so he agreed, and his Samoyed quickly understood his master's meaning and was happily ready to run with the spotted dog.

But when the two dogs ran up, Bender will have some regrets.

Samoyed was struggling to chase after the spotted dog.

I could see that my Samoyed was trying very hard, but no matter how it could not catch up with the spotted dog in front of him.

To encourage his dog, Bender kept shouting to give the dog encouragement.

Who knows, this seemed to intensify Samoyed's anxiety and stress.

Not only could the Samoyed not catch up with the spotted dog, but he soon lost his strength.

When the Samoyed stopped, the spotted dog in front of him let out a happy bark.

Bender noticed that his dog hung his head and seemed to have some unhappiness, but Bender didn't think much of it.

Who knows, for the next whole day, his own Samoyed was sullen and the Samoyed refused to eat.

This made Bender anxious, and it took the dog out for a walk, who knew that the dog also put on a lethargic look?

Bender tried to calm down his dog.

Who knows, the Samoyed mood is very bad, sometimes sullen, sometimes suddenly barking.

And will also be very aggressive at the owner of the temper, Bender has not seen his dog before this situation.

Bender had no choice but to take his dog to the vet.

The vet inquired about the situation and asked Bender if the Samoyed had rarely run with other dogs like this before.

Bender thought back on the following, it seems to be true.

When his dog saw other dogs before, he would usually play together, but he had never tried to "compare which dog is faster" with a spotted dog like this.

The veterinarian told Bender that Samoyed has high self-esteem, and if he can run faster than other dogs, he is usually fine. Once you can't run another dog, Samoyed is likely to be depressed for a long time, or even depressed.

After more than two months of recuperation, Samoyed gradually regained his mood.

Bender knew that he would not let this Samoyed run faster than other dogs in the future.

He did not expect the Samoyed to be so prone to emotional problems and was surprisingly a very strong glassy-eyed dog.

I wonder if your Samoyed has ever been in a similar situation?

Although Samoyed always looks cute and happy, this kind of dog is sometimes prone to emotional depression.

When this happens, calm the dog down, take it out for more walks and do some fun games with it.

Give the dog some better food and keep saying encouraging words to the dog.

Taking your dog out in the sun can also bring back the mood faster.

Hopefully, your dog will always be happy, not have a weak heart, and be healthy and with you every day.
