Once upon a time a long, long time ago...there lived a famous cowboy, named Cowboy Bob. He lived out in Texas, yes he did, and he had a big farm out there with lots of chickens, and ducks, and pigs, and cows, and turkeys, ans sheep and llamas, and goats, and chickens, and ducks, and pigs, and cows, and turkeys, ans sheep and llamas, and goats.....and chickens!

One day Cowboy Bob was reading in the newspaper that a brand new baby buffalo had been born. But this wasn't any kind of buffalo...it was the white buffalo, a prophecy of many a year. So Cowboy Bob thought it would be kind of cool if he could have that buffalo down on his farm.So he loaded up all of his goodies onto his trusty horse, Whiskers, and as he rode off into the sunset he sang his song of glory;

"I'm gonna get that buffalo

I'm gonna get that buffalo!

I'm gonna go, go, get 'em! Get 'em! Go-go, get 'em get 'em!"

Well, Cowboy Bob had been on the road everywhere looking for that buffalo. He went everywhere, I'll tell you, yes he did! He went up the mountain, down through the woods, around the lake and through the forest and up the mountain, down through the woods, around the lake and through the forest!

All that chasin' didn't get Cowboy Bob down. No, sir! He just kept singing his song; his song of glory...

"I'm gonna get that buffalo

I'm gonna get that buffalo!

I'm gonna go, go, get 'em! Get 'em! Go-go, get 'em get 'em!"

Well, Cowboy Bob had been on the road now for many, many years and he went everywhere looking for that itty-bitty white buffalo. Boy, was he getting tired; yes he was, and so was Whiskers. They were getting really, REALLY tired. They were gettin' so tired in fact that one day, they...just...stopped! Cowboy Bob set up his tent and tied Whiskers to a tree. Cowboy Bob pulled out some sugar cubes and he fed Whiskers. Then Cowboy Bob got into his sleeping bag and he fell asleep under the stars.

The next morning Cowboy Bob was awakened to a sound, and it sounded just like this: "AWHEE! AWHEE!" So Cowboy Bob ran up to the tip-top of yonder mountain valley below...and what do you think he saw down there? That's right! It was the White Buffalo! So Cowboy Bob called down to that buffalo, "Look out, buffalo! 'Cause here I come!" And around and around and around they go! And around and around and around they went! And around and around and around they go! And around and around and around they went!

Well that buffalo wasn't too smart, because he started climbing up the mountain. He went higher and higher and higher and higher until he couldn't go any higher! Because IF he did he would have fallen off of the cliff and he would have been dead buffalo hamburger meat!

So the White Buffalo turned around and who do you think he saw climbing up the mountain? That's right! It was cowboy Bob! He watched Cowboy Bob take out his long lasso and start swinging it over his head and when Cowboy Bob got close enough, he threw it ! That lasso went right around that buffalo's neck, and Cowboy Bob sang just as loud as he could:

"Oh, well I got the at buffalo! Yes, I got that buffalo!

Oh well I got that buffalo! YEE-HAW!

Well Cowboy Bob and the White Buffalo got to talking and Cowboy Bob found out that the White Buffalo was a pretty cool guy. Then Cowboy Bob didn't even want to take him back to his farm, anymore. He just wanted to hang out with him like a big old buddy, and they did! They played all kinds of games like soccer, kickball, and football. At the end of the day Cowboy Bob gave that big White Buffalo a handshake and said, "See you later partner!" Then Cowboy Bob got on his trusty horse, Whiskers, and started home. Giddyap! Giddyap! Giddyap! Giddyap!

And that was the story about Cowboy Bob.
