“You have this one life. How do you want to spend it.” Good men can be mothers too.

Can men be mothers too?

Most of the time we really do not take the time to think about men being mothers to; however, there are so many good men out in this world that are doing just that, being mothers. In many situations, men do not even get credit for doing the things that a mother does because of the way the world has set the stage for them. Know firsthand that there are so many wonderful men out in this world that do take on the responsibilities of being both the mother and the father, but no one seems to want to give them the credit that they so rightfully deserve. A man could have just lost his wife to cancer and is forced to raise two or three children alone. No one wants to look at all the silent sacrifices that he must make every day to provide for his kids. This man may be going through a nasty divorce, and he must take care of the kids all alone. I do want to take this time to say happy Mother’s Day to all the fathers around the world. You are just as amazing as we are, and I am saying thank you to all the strong men around the globe who are raising kids.

How do you want to spend your life?

Your life is yours and yours alone. No one has the right to tell you how to live it. Being that it is Mother’s Day we all should try to let our children know that they are always loved. It is not only about saying that you love your children, but you must show them that every day. First, anyone that has children can and most time will tell you firsthand that kids do not come with an instructional manual when they are born. You must learn what best always provides and protects that child. Being a parent is not easy, but it can be rewarding and wonderful if you give the child the simple things that it needs.

Are there people in your life that want to see you grow?

Always wanted my children and grandchildren to outgrow me in many things but at the end of the day if they are happy in whatever they choose to do with their lives I am forever grateful for that. Enjoy seeing them smile at little things like watching a butterfly or simply playing with each other. To the men that are managing their business with just this simple task you are already winning. Again, I know that it is Mother’s Day coming up but we cannot leave the amazing men out of this equation to.

Do you have what it takes to cut some people off and out of your life when you need to for you and your children?

Had to learn over the years how to cut off people in my life that I knew were damaging me and my kids. Being that I have a big heart I did not realize that me trying to keep these individuals around me was draining me and slowing killing my mind, body, and spirit. I had to learn that you are your children’s everything and if you fall down your children do not fully understand what is going on but trust me when I say that they do notice something is off with mommy and daddy.
