Breakfast by the Lakefront
Waking up at 5:30 A. M., Rose left the comfort of her bed to go outside and watch the sun rise. Her boyfriend Lee was just getting up himself. She sat in the chair that faced out near the lake and the railroad track. The sun rose high above the lake brightening the morning with is bright yellow ambiance. She heard the distant whistle of the train and saw it pass by with three locomotives from CSX. He went to the stove and began preparing breakfast. He is a skilled sous chef. Should I Stay Or Should I Go
There comes a time in a relationship where you ask yourself such difficult questions. This questions come up when the relationship is going through those low lows. Should i stay or should i go? Should i choose me or should i be patient and let the storm pass? Well i wish the answer was so simple but its not, relationships are the most complex and challenging experiences we go through as human beings. Relationships have a way of pushing people to experience the most intense emotions that one has ever experienced. When we are experiencing this emotions it is paramount to remember that it is just a phase just like a storm it will pass. Try not to make any decisions when you are either too happy or too sad and angry. Emotions have a way of messing up with decision making, for example when your sad, stressed and anxious you produce cortisol and adrenaline that completely change your decision making and when your happy you produce dopamine and endorphins. I know in theory this sounds doable but when the emotions set in we tend to throw all this out the window and act on emotions, please try not to or you will find yourself in a never ending cycle. There's more to life than just making rush decisions and moving through life with bitterness and anger. Take a deep breathe. Evaluate the relationship alone in your free time when you have nothing bothering you, think about the low lows and the high highs that you both have been through. Then ask yourself are the lows more than the highs? Why? Is there anything that is triggering the lows? What part do i play is the situation? Can i live with what happened or what was said during that season? Is there a pattern that keeps happening? Then you can make your decision. Here are some of the problems that couples face in a relationship;
