Marriage

Water ceremony every Sunday
Yesterday a wedding and meeting day
Spending time with a 12-year-old
she is fun and we laugh. She is bold.
~
Today I will see special people to me
It is almost always a surprise you see
Summer especially is a busy time
Missing a Sunday is no crime.

Hubby's niece was marrying
The venue was perfect and the wedding
was beautiful. Our brother-in-law was great
He married the couple and it was first rate!

He first gave his opinion about marriage being
in levels of a swimming pool, and standing
in the shallow end is where the couple will begin
Fun and sun, and not much happening in
the early days, and then some trouble starts
up as we move deeper into the pool, and hearts
can be broken, and it is when love deepens
as we work through those things it opens
us up to where some jump out of the pool
while others stay together and it is cool

Married life has it's ups and downs
Stay faithful and there are less frowns
okay, it wasn't exactly what he said, and
the message was real. Hang in there as planned
you won't regret getting to the deep end
with your soulmate as the love is forever,
beyond anything you could have ever imagined.

It was a message for the entire audience and
my sister-in-law and her husband together
for over fifty years and their love shows in their
communication. The laughter, joy, the harmony
The love they show each other and others
is fun to see. Now you expect to see that from
ministers. Ministers are human too and some
are more human than others. Did I say that?

Author's note: I first met Bella when she was a very young girl. She was talking to her uncle John when he introduced her to our dog, and he said, "We named our dog after you. She is Bella, too!" The surprise on her face and her expression soon after was excitement. Whenever I see Bella, I remember her cute little face from that day.

I love the weekend events, and still after a week
that was plenty busy, I prefer quiet and seek
that out where I can write, edit, and just be.
Looking forward to a week of writing, editing. We
have no plans for next weekend. Broken lover
Hubby bought a three-wheel Ryker
motorcycle while I was out of town
so he can ride with a healing ankle.

I can understand this man, he was feeling down
about not being able to ride this summer
when he figured out he could ride a trike
a 900, is a lot smaller than his current 1900 bike.
~
After talking with a co-worker who retired
when he did, his buddy was tired
all the time and knew that something was wrong
It was cancer and he does not have long
He decided that life is too short to wait
as you never know when it may be too late.

Author's note: We are taking a 60-100 mile ride on the motorcycles today. He on the Ryker and me on my bike. It is a beautiful day and not expected to get to be any hotter than 80 out there on this gorgeous Sunday.

Back from the water ceremony, and after eating breakfast, we will be on our way right after this is finished. It will be the perfect hike!
