Best Engagement Ring Design

Even the most radical, non-conforming couples are enthralled when looking for the best engagement jewellery. The quest for the nicest engagement ring persists even when other wedding customs have been cheerfully consigned to history (I mean, who can even imagine swearing to "obey" in their vows anymore?).

The nicest engagement ring you have ever imagined will shine from the best manicured finger you have ever flaunted on what is supposed to be the best day of your life, whether your ceremony is a blowout in a hotel ballroom or a beachside nuptial. (Okay, let's say one of your top five best days ever; after all, a child's birth or a fantastic career promotion must count as well.)

What qualities define the best engagement ring? It might seem obvious, but the one you've always desired—possibly even more than a romantic partner—is the one that expresses your unique individuality and speaks to your spirit. It might be a more unique variation of an emerald, princess, marquis, or cushion cut, or it could be a traditional form with a magnificent huge stone set upon a platinum band. It might be a diamond-studded band that serves as both an engagement ring and a wedding band, or it might be something completely outlandish and crazy that communicates to the two of you in a language that only the two of you can comprehend.

There are a tonne of decent, better, and finest engagement rings available if you're feeling overloaded by the wide range of options available at every price point and in every metal right now. Would knowing a little about the history of the best engagement rings be helpful?

According to legend, it all started in 1477 when Mary of Burgundy, the intended recipient of Archduke Maximilian of Austria's engagement ring, ordered the first diamond ring. European aristocrats soon began to imitate his idea. Even yet, the idea of a diamond engagement ring was out of most people's price range—at least until the Victorian era, when a growing middle class had the means to afford such frivolities. (If a real diamond was out of your price range, you could have one made of paste!)

It goes without saying that the most renowned engagement rings in history were crafted from the best materials. Napoleon gave Josephine a snake-shaped ring that was highlighted with a sizable emerald, rubies, and diamonds. Queen Victoria chose a band that was designed to resemble two teardrops in sapphire and diamond to represent their two hearts. Jackie Kennedy wore an emerald, while Audrey Hepburn displayed a trio of studded rings. In addition, Lady Diana Spencer's renowned engagement ring was made of 18-karat white gold and had an amazing 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds. Kate Middleton now holds it.

Classic Rings

Simple accents, a conventional band, and a typical metal are all features of classic engagement rings. Numerous ring designs fall into this category, including solitaire and three-stone engagement rings, but it's the smaller elements that give a band its true classic appeal.

Vintage Ring

There is something special about a vintage ring. It is like a little piece of the past that you can carry with you. I often find myself staring at my rings, admiring the craftsmanship and imagining the life of the person who wore it before me. I feel like I am connected to something greater than myself when I wear a vintage ring.

Antique Ring

This antique ring is truly a unique piece. It is made of solid gold and features a large, oval-shaped diamond in the center. The diamond is flanked by two smaller diamonds, and the ring's band is adorned with intricate scrollwork. This ring is truly a one-of-a-kind find, and would make an excellent addition to any collection.

Multi-Stone Rings

These rings might feature numerous jewels, just like rings made of various metals. You might choose a diamond engagement ring with other jewels like amethyst, ruby, sapphire, or emerald. You can have identical engagement rings with various gemstones in place of diamonds.

Make sure all jewels have the appropriate certifications and standardization when buying these rings. Focus on the shapes and cuts of the stones in your ring as well to make sure they follow fashion trends.
