Millennium Gate Museum and Event Venue, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a historic wedding venue with a classically-styled monumental arch. The working museum is located in Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta, also known as "The Gate City." This one-of-a-kind venue features an oval lawn, a lake setting, and a terrace for your wedding ceremony and reception. The mission of the Georgia Museum is to preserve and interpret Georgia's history, art, culture, and philanthropic heritage. Weddings with 50 to 400 guests can be held at the Millennium Gate Museum and Event Venue. The beautifully manicured outdoor oval lawn can accommodate 250 guests for a seated reception or 400 guests for an outdoor ceremony. An elegant, transparent tent can be added to the oval lawn, allowing you and your guests to dance under the stars while being protected from inclement weather. The indoor space is intended for smaller gatherings of up to 50 guests for a ceremony or 100 for a standing cocktail reception. The Museum Gallery, Upper Terrace, Rhodes-Robinson Room, and Rooftop at the Gate are also available. You can either rent out a single space or the entire museum and monument for your wedding. An urban Atlanta Wedding Venue in an upscale garden setting

This tranquil oasis in the midst of Atlanta's urban landscape can be found in the heart of the Arts District. The Gate opened on July 4, 2008, as a memorial and tribute to Georgia's civic achievements of the pioneers who paved the way for the city's world-class growth.

From the perspective of a wedding photographer, the Millennium Gate has a lot to offer those looking for a picture-perfect wedding day. If you want to have epic cityscapes in the background of your wedding photos or super historic-looking architecture all around you, this could be the perfect Atlanta wedding venue for you.

A large lake and park surround the museum/monument, making it ideal for romantic wedding day photos. The architecture, with its tall white columns and archways, reminds me of ancient Rome. It's so lovely!

Why we recommend the Millennium Gate Museum:

In the spring, the grounds are surrounded by beautiful, flowering trees, lending a romantic feel to your wedding day. The grounds are large enough to host large, lavish receptions. So, book Millennium Gate Museum for wedding.
