Now that you have decided about ‘the one’ with whom you want to spend the rest of your life with an engagement you would want your wedding nothing less than a dream. Wedding planning can be quite overwhelming knowing that a lot of things have to be planned and implemented. The impeccable implementation of a wedding is imperative, as weddings are a once in a lifetime affair for the couple.

A wedding is the time to celebrate the bond of togetherness of the couple. While planning a wedding priority should be given to more time for celebration and enjoyment. A five course meal or too many toasts mean less time to celebrate. You can’t have everything at your wedding so prioritize.

Following is a step by step guide to planning a wedding to make it stress free and dreamy.

1. BUDGET- They are right when they say it is all about money. To make it look like a dream you can spend millions of dollars but we cannot afford a royal wedding. Although plans can easily be made to make it as dreamy and royal as possible within our budget. So sit down with the contributors and calculate the total budget. This is the most important part of planning because it sets the rest of the actions into action.

2. CHOOSING A VENUE- When thinking about a venue, choose a place that has the maximum capacity to have a photo booth, dance floor and place to eat for all the guests. A jumbled place looks more of a marketplace than a wedding venue. If it does not have enough space for dancing and sitting for all the guests, just choose another place, a wedding happens just once and should be perfect.

3. THE BAR- The bar need not be a huge one. No one wants to stand in the line for hours just for a glass of champagne. Have two to three bars at your wedding venue. This distributes the load on a single unit and reduces the waiting time greatly.

4. REGISTRY- As soon as you are engaged, start making a registry. Making a registry early gives you an edge in the long run. The moment your wedding is announced guests ask for the place you are registered.

5. GUEST LIST- On your big day you would want to have all your loved ones to be around. Start planning and preparing a guest list beforehand. This way forgetting any important guest for the wedding has the least possibility.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY- After choosing your theme for the wedding, photographers that can easily capture that theme should be enlisted early. Experienced and talented photographers are booked quite early in the year. Adelaide wedding photographer is one such professional who covers all kinds of themes.

7. DECORATIONS: Decorations eat up most of the part of your wedding budget. The fairy lights, drapery, etc. A finite list within the budget is always preferable. You cannot spend all your money on flowers and aesthetics only. It is a trap.

8. WINTER WEDDINGS- Embrace winter weddings. They are not just beautiful but more can save you hundreds of dollars. Suppliers and venues are way cheaper during winters than in summers.

9. MUSIC- A good piece of background music at the wedding adds vibrance to the whole wedding setup. Never underestimate the power of good music. You can spend a lot of money by appointing a popular DJ for the same job or a nice personal favorite playlist of the couple.

The second option sounds an inexpensive, intimate option to me.

10. OUTSOURCE- Outsourcing work to your bridesmaids and groomsmen is always a good idea. It keeps the stress away from the couple on their big day.
