YONI BUTTER

Lovemaking should not be uncomfortable.

As we all know, as we age certain parts of our body (vaginal canal) do not stay as moist as they should, and I know people do not like the word moist, but that's the best word I can use. As some of you may know, I also used to own a soap making and lotion shop where I made my own soap and other items (Edelweiss Soap Company). Anyway, I have now developed a moisturizing balm for the cootchie. I am not going to sell it. I'm not going to make it and send it out to people, but I'm going to give you the recipe. You take about a cup and a half of coconut oil, about a third of a cup of olive oil, put it in the microwave or on the stove and melt it and then put in a teaspoon of tea tree oil, pour into a container, and let it set. Tea tree oil is a natural estrogen enhancer, and it will, not only over time, help with desire, but the coconut oil and the olive oil keep things soft, lubricated, and moist. Again, this is for the women, not the guys. Males should not expose themselves to, especially teenage boys to high concentrations of tea tree oil. I personally have seen a young man develop moobs (man boobs) from his mother using tea tree oil as a cleansing agent. Please do not do that. But I do highly recommend using this once you hit that certain age of dryness, it makes a lot of difference. The tea tree oil will absorb into your body, help with healing, and help enhance desire and the coconut and olive oil will moisture and help lubricate. And the small amount of tea tree oil will absorb and should ot affect your husband or intimate partner. This should last a year. Just apply it on the inside of the labia close to the Bartholin glands or use in place of KY jelly.

Bartholin Glands are two pea sized glands on the sides of your vagina, and they provide moisture when you are aroused. As you age and your estrogen levels decrease, they do not work as well. Sometimes they get clogged and develop cysts which can get infected (trust me, not a pleasant experience… Been there, got the t-shirt). VERY painful and disgusting.

Normally, the Bartholin glands keep the walls of the vagina lubricated with a thin layer of clear fluid. The hormone estrogen helps maintain that fluid and keeps the lining of your vagina healthy, thick, and elastic.

A drop in estrogen level reduces the amount of moisture available. It can happen at any age from a number of different causes.

It may seem like a minor irritation. But the lack of vaginal moisture can have a huge impact on your sex life.

Causes

Vaginal dryness is common symptom of menopause -- and close to one out of every three women deals with it while going through "the change." It becomes even more common afterward. It also makes the vagina thinner and less elastic. This is called vaginal atrophy.

Estrogen levels can also drop because of:

• Childbirth and breastfeeding

• Radiation or chemotherapy treatment for cancer

• Surgical removal of the ovaries

• Anti-estrogen medications used to treat uterine fibroids or endometriosis

Other causes of vaginal dryness include:

• Sjogren’s syndrome (an autoimmune disorder that attacks cells in the body that produce moisture)

• Allergy and cold medications

• Certain antidepressant

• Douching

• Not enough foreplay before sex

• Take your time before having sex to make sure that you are fully relaxed and aroused.

• Avoid using douches, bubble baths, scented soaps, and lotions around the sensitive vaginal area. These products can worsen dryness.

No matter what the cause, vaginal dryness can be extremely uncomfortable. It can lead to itching, burning, and painful intercourse.
