Anger is an element of normal human emotion. But excessive anger destroys relationships with others and makes them unpleasant to loved ones. Not only this, but with anger, you can do more harm than good. People who are prone to excessive anger are at risk of having a stroke or heart attack. Think about it, if you are angry, do you have control over yourself? So we need to learn to control our anger. If necessary, consult a psychiatrist.

The harmful effects of anger on the body are discussed–

1. Increases the risk of heart disease

Excessive anger increases the risk of heart disease. Experts say that if a person is angry for two hours straight, the risk of heart disease is multiplied.

2. Increases the risk of stroke

Excessive anger also increases the risk of stroke. If you suddenly have a lot of anger and it lasts a long time then you need to be careful. Because excess anger has a detrimental effect on the brain. This closes the blood vessels in the brain and increases the chances of stroke.

3. Immunity is reduced

If you are always angry or unable to behave normally, you will notice that you are feeling weak. Experts say that if you are angry for six hours continuously, your body's immune system is reduced at a significant rate. As a result, various types of harmful infections occur in the body.

4. Increases depression

Excessive anger is responsible for creating a depression in people. If we do not act according to our desires, we get angry and if we cannot solve it, we get depressed. So try to solve the problem by controlling the anger. The problem cannot be solved by being angry. Excessive anger is one of the reasons why people are unpleasant.

5. Reduces longevity

Excessive anger shortens human life. Research has shown that mentally happy people live longer and lead healthier lives. So if you get angry for no reason, you are ruining your happiness.

Suppose you are going to work but can't find an urgent paper. You are very angry at that moment. At one point you started shouting. Then the whole day went bad. Anger is a normal emotion just like any other emotion. But it is normal to a certain extent. There is nothing worse than passing this particular level.

Because, excessive anger can raise our blood pressure, ruin beautiful relationships, and hurt many other areas of life. Anger can cause harm in many ways if it goes to the wrong place at the wrong time. So learning to control your anger is a very important skill.

So let's not know how to control anger -

1. 3 Seconds Rule

Due to our short temper, the sensation that is created between us usually lasts for 2.5 seconds. This means that the unbearable situation that we experience before we get angry lasts for 2.5 seconds in our brain. If you express anger during this period, it is repeatedly re-generated. As a result, the anger gradually increases

So if we can be silent for 2.5 seconds without reacting in uncomfortable situations, then that sensation is lost and we have control over ourselves. This is an effective method. So we can follow the 3-second rule.

For this, you can apply any strategy you want. For example, if you are standing then sit down, keep your eyes closed, think positive, etc. In other words, no reaction can be done for 3 seconds. This will bring your anger under your control.

2. Exercise

The benefits of exercise cannot be overstated. Get up and exercise regularly. Exercise benefits us in many ways. Regular exercise increases the flow of oxygen to the brain. As a result energy level increases. You will see that in a few days your behavior will change and you will be able to reduce your anger.

3. Take a deep breath

Whenever you feel that you are having a lot of anger, keep breathing deeply and keep exhaling. The mind will move to the other side for a while. Breathing deeply increases the flow of oxygen to the head and increases blood flow. As a result, you will feel a little calmer and your anger will decrease.

4. Explain

For example, someone broke into your home without permission and made you very angry. Do you think "I pushed him out of the room?" But don't get angry and explain to him. Maybe he doesn't know what you dislike. So always try to understand without being angry.

5. Take a walk

Instead of shouting in anger, move away from the one you are angry with. No one benefits from being angry. So if you can't control your anger, leave the scene for a while. Take a walk. This will reduce the chances of anger and keep your mind calm.

6. Meditation

Meditation is extremely beneficial for the body and mind. It not only connects the mind with the body but also has many benefits for the body. The mind is the source of human energy. So if the mind is calm, the body and the brain can be used in the best way. And the best way to fix the mind is through meditation. Try to meditate regularly, even if only for a short time. If you get used to it, you will learn to establish control over yourself. After a while, you will notice that you can control your anger.

7. Stay calm

One of the causes of anger is emotional instability. If we can't stay calm, we get angry about anything in general. Because, when there is mental instability, we make mistakes even in small matters. The result is our anger. So we must stay calm. If you can stay mentally stable then you can maintain mental balance. This will reduce your anger a lot.

8. Learn to forgive

People make mistakes, it is eternally true. No one is 100% correct. You make mistakes too. So it is not wise to be overly angry about someone's mistake. If you get angry, will his mistakes be corrected? Of course not. Then think, whatever happened has already happened. Forgive him without anger. See you later, you feel good.

9. Think

Maybe you are too angry. When you got angry, fracas tied the trunk. You throw whatever you get at hand. But think about it, will you be compensated if you throw something? Of course not. So think coldly before getting angry. Learn to do the right thing at the right time.

10. Solve

If you got angry then you lost. But it's not just a matter of winning or losing. When we get angry we say a lot of unnecessary things and do a lot of wrong things. The problem is here. Nothing happens on earth except 'cause'. So if there is a problem, there is a solution. So if you have a reason to be angry, there is a solution. So find a way to solve the problem by giving up excess anger.

Anger, on the one hand, destroys the external relationship and on the other hand, harms us physically and mentally. So give up excess anger and stay healthy.
