Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to read my review regarding my top 3 water filtration systems. We all need to maintain the required intake of approximately 8 glasses each day along with a balanced meal. I usually struggle with this and do my best to have a few glasses before bed. You’ll be surprised just how many people neglect their body by not drinking enough water per day. Water is a crucial element of maintaining a healthy nervous system. Just the other day, I heard the most discouraging information while driving into work about the safety of our water. Although the news reported on other areas, I still felt a bit uncomfortable because all 50 states share water from similar sources. It seems that each week there are more threats to our national well-being and I found it necessary to research further to share with my family and friends. The most recent article on water contamination was reported in NE Washington regarding the advisory to boil water before consumption. I’m not an expert but I don’t believe boiling the water would be an ideal plan of action. READ ARTICLE HERE:

I’ve decided to investigate water filtration systems and make a final decision by week's end to select a company based on my needs and begin my journey to improved health.

1. Aquasana: Aquasana is known for its advanced filtration technology that effectively removes a wide range of contaminants. It utilizes a combination of multiple filtration stages to achieve clean and safe drinking water. The system typically includes activated carbon filters to eliminate chlorine, chemicals, and organic compounds, as well as a sub-micron mechanical filter to remove microscopic particles, sediment, and bacteria. Aquasana's filters are designed to maintain essential minerals in the water while reducing harmful substances.

2. Berkey: Berkey filtration systems are renowned for their versatility and reliability. These systems rely on gravity-based filtration, utilizing a combination of carbon filters and proprietary media to purify water. The carbon filters remove chemicals, pesticides, and heavy metals, while the unique media elements target bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Berkey filters can purify untreated water from various sources, making them ideal for emergencies or areas with limited access to clean water.

3. Reverse Osmosis (RO) System: RO systems employ a membrane filtration process that forces water through a semi-permeable membrane to remove a wide range of contaminants. RO systems are effective at eliminating dissolved solids, heavy metals, salts, bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants. These systems provide a high level of purification, producing water that is typically free from most impurities. However, it's worth noting that RO systems also remove beneficial minerals from the water, requiring remineralization to restore its nutritional value.

When comparing these filtration systems, Aquasana and Berkey offer comprehensive filtration while retaining essential minerals, making them suitable for everyday household use. They effectively remove contaminants and provide safe drinking water. Aquasana is particularly adept at removing chlorine and organic compounds, while Berkey's gravity-based design makes it versatile and suitable for various water sources.

On the other hand, RO systems provide exceptional water purification, eliminating a wide range of pollutants. However, they also remove beneficial minerals, requiring additional steps to re-mineralize the water for optimal health benefits. RO systems are commonly used in situations where high-quality water is essential, such as in laboratories or industrial settings.

In conclusion, all three water filtration systems, Aquasana, Berkey, and RO systems, have their unique advantages. The choice ultimately depends on specific needs, such as the level of pollution, desired water quality, and intended usage. It is recommended to consider these factors and consult with water treatment professionals to select the most suitable system for addressing water pollution concerns.
