1) Unit Converter and Calculator

If you are a user of the MacBook Pro, you would be familiar with the spotlight feature. It is an impressive feature that allows us to sort through various apps, files, and other important documents to find what we need on our devices. You need to hold down the command key while clicking the space to bring up the search bar.

2) Take a Screenshot

You would think that everybody knows about this and most MacBook user knows it with the command+shift+3. But were you aware that you can select a particular part of your screen that you want to capture? So, if you take the screenshot next time to snap a photo of a code or a receipt, then, you need to know hold command+shift+4. When you click it, your cursor will turn into a little T, and then select the area of your screenshot. After this, click and drag to the highlighted area that you want to snag.

Sometimes it happens that you want to save a recording of the video to watch it later. Well, if you want to do that then try this, command+shift+5. It will show a small toolbar that allows you to capture the screen recording. You can also record the sound of that video.

4) Remove the Menu Bar

Sometimes It irritates us when we try to some get work done and we can not get the screen real estate to spare. But if you know about the right settings then you can free the whole screen about an inch at the bottom of your screen. When you want to hide that, you need to go to settings, go to your system preferences, then click general, and check the box where it shows “automatically hide and show the menu bar”.

5) Sign Your Important Documents

This is a very big deal. It happens so many times when we need to sign some documents digitally. This feature is only available on the Macbook. It would seem impossible for us to sign the document with the trackpad. You can do that in the preview section.

6) Split Your Screen

When you work on some important documents and get help from other apps. it feels so irritating to change the window again and again. Well, now you can open two apps simultaneously and multitask. To open the split screen you need to click and hold the green circle in the top left corner of a window. This will show a menu that will allow you to pick which side you want the one side of the window. So, choose a side, and then Macbook will show you the other side. Now you can work easily and save the hustle of changing it again and again.
