If you’re looking for money, look no further!

If you’re looking for financial security, look no further!

If you’re looking for low-risk, look no further!

These 5 hustles can earn you a lot of money and make you feel safe because they’re a guaranteed income source for life. If need be, you can turn them from side hustle into full income, they’re perfect for both.

The only way to fail at them is if you don’t do them.

Benefits and caveats:

Biggest benefit: the money!

You don’t need to have a degree, but you do need to have special skills that you can learn on your own.

There are no limitations on gender, age, or physical strength. There are no limitations, period! All you need is brain capacity.

It takes time until they start paying at their true potential because it takes time for you to develop your skills at their true potential. But while you’re wasting time trying everything else, you could be developing those skills that truly pay.

There’s a learning curve that will be quite frustrating, especially if you start from 0. It’s natural and it happens to everybody. There aren’t a ton of people who get over a certain level. Most flat-out quit because it’s so frustrating. But those who do, don’t regret it.

The only way to lose is to give up before you win. Those who stick around make the big bucks.

Here they are:

1. Web development

Hands down the best side hustle, job, or skill set you can get if you want big money that’s also steady money: creating and maintaining sites.

While a lot of people are discouraged from ever giving web development a try because they don’t see themselves as tech people, the truth is that anyone can learn the skills necessary to make it as a dev.

You will need: a passion for how things work, relentless determination in the face of frustration, puzzle solving skills.

The rest can be learned.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay in 2021 was $78,300 per year.

Even on the lower end of the spectrum, you could still make $44k/year, while the top-ranking web developers, e.g. Web3 developers, earn a cool $154,550.

If you’re more interested in a side hustle, intermediate-level Fiverr web developers make an average of $50-$75 per hour, depending on the project.

2. Web design

Web design goes hand in hand with web development and is the process of designing what a website will look like.

Whatever meets the layman’s eye is the web designer’s construct.

My friend Adrian is a freelance web designer. In the beginning, it was just a side hustle for him but then he noticed the side hustle was doing better than his full-time job and decided to get rid of the job and keep the side. That took him about 2 years of active learning and practicing.

He is now making an average of a little over $100,000 a year.

Please keep in mind that web design is less complex than web development, so this is an example of what patience, hard work, and the right clients can do.

He started about 15 years ago and kept growing. Yes, I know, it’s a long time, but he’s been making this money for the past 8 years, so make your own calculations and decide: is 7 years of your life a price you’re willing to pay for guaranteed financial security?

Adrian works anywhere between 3 to 10 hours a day, depending on the project and client, and he makes around $50 per hour. Believe it or not, he is at the lower end of the spectrum.

To get to his level you will need: imagination, creativity, a passion for continuous learning, and patience until you find the right people to pay you the right money.

The rest can be learned.

3. Copywriting

If you have a way with words, why aren’t you into copywriting?

Fiverr found business copywriting to be one of the highest-paying side hustles, selling for $100 to $2,000 per project. Within business copywriting, Fiverr reports that writing press releases, blog posts and SEO content can be particularly high-paying.

What you need: a way with words, a lot of reading, a passion for making people buy what you want to sell.

The rest can be learned.

Meet Sarah — she had 0 experience when she started as a copywriter in a small advertising agency. In 4 years she left the agency and started freelancing. Her main job was writing everything the clients needed to be written: blog posts, articles, social media posts, advertorials, advertisements, web content, you name it, she did it.

In about 2 more years, she was making anywhere between $6,000 and $8,000 a month.

4. Social Media Manager

Communication makes the world go round and social media is the new way we communicate in the modern world. The social media manager is the new master communicator that every business needs in order to get ahead.

Managing multiple social media accounts, and knowing what to communicate and when is a daunting task for most business owners who just want to put their product out there.

That’s where you come in.

Social Media Managers on Upwork cost between $14–$35/hr. Social Media Training: $25–150. A campaign advisor: $55–200.

Yes, there’s a lot of work before you break through as an expert in your field. In the beginning, you will most probably be doing a lot of work for $15 an hour. That’s true about any hustle and any job. But not all can get as high as $200 an hour.

What you need: a passion for followers, keeping in touch with everything currently trending, and enjoying social media presence.

The rest can be learned.

5. SEO Consulting

On Upwork, SEO Experts range between $32 and $150 per hour.

Why are businesses so crazy about SEO?

An SEO consultant helps businesses improve their websites’ ranking in search engine results. An SEO consultant’s goal is to make it easier for potential clients to find you, help you remain competitive in your niche, and increase your business’s revenue-generating potential. (Coursera.org)

In an increasingly virtual world, businesses will be looking to stay competitive in the online environment. SEO will do that for them. An SEO consultant is indispensable to any business’s success.

What you need: getting pleasure from analyzing data, making research a religion, and a passion for seeing your work ranking on Google’s first page.

The rest can be learned.

Conclusion:

There’s a lot of money available out there for those willing to do the research, put in the hours, and have the patience. And that can be said about any field.

But there’s no secret that some endeavors are more lucrative than others. Why not make out lives easier and do those? Yes, they’re not for everybody. But don’t just assume they’re not for you!

Give yourself a chance to be surprised by how much potential you actually have!
