It’s that time again where everyone is getting ready to go Christmas shopping, and you are asking yourself, is this year better to go to the store or is it better you shop online? I may be able to help you with that decision.

Online shopping has some pros and cons. The pros of online shopping are that some places may have deals online for the perfect Christmas present for that one family member that may want that special toy. Another pro would be you wouldn’t have to stand in huge lines waiting to check out. Another pro would be once you find all the perfect gifts for those loved ones, you only have to take a couple minutes checking out the item or items online, that helps if you have a busy schedule and don’t have time to stand in lines for the gifts. It also helps you to be able to spend more time with family around the holidays. The last pro is that you don’t have to go shopping where it’s crowded. The cons of online shopping is one the supplier could be out of stock on the gift. Another con is if you're not home when the package is delivered and there is thieves around your city, the package could be stolen when it is delivered or during shipment. Another con is that the gift may not make it to your house before Christmas because weather might delay the delivery. Another con to online shopping is that the company you buy from could end up being hacked and if you have done your shopping, your credit card or debit card could be taken. Another con is online stores have more of a chance of being hacked than stores are. Another con is that if you decide to do online shopping, depending on where you shop, you might have to order 6-8 weeks before Christmas because some stores may take time to fill and manufacture the product.

Once you realized what the pros and cons are of online shopping there must be pros and cons of shopping in store and there is. The first pro would be that you will be able to see and buy the gift that same day and not have to worry that it won’t make it to your house before or by Christmas. The second pro is some stores may have sales going on because of Christmas. Another pro would be you may be able to meet some nice friendly people that are also shopping that you could end up becoming friends with. The cons of shopping in store is the long lines for buying the gift. The next con would be the store might run out of the gift if the gift is an popular item. Another con would be if there is no sales you could be spending a lot of money on the gift. The other con is that depending what time of day or the date you go shopping, you could run into crowds of people, the crowds of people could be so big that people might shove and push each other just to get to the item they want to buy. Another con could be that some stores may get hacked and all the customers' payment info could be stolen but of course the stores are rarely hacked.

I hope this helps you make a decision. There has been a lot of reasons good or bad to shop online or in store. In my opinion I like both shopping online and in store but I like when I can get good deals or buy things on sale. I hope you are able to find good deals whatever you decide to shop at.
