Moving with clear vision

So you’re graduating, or already have gone through the dire tribulations of college and still want that perspective. Or screw it, maybe you didn’t go to school and just want clarity. You’ve come to the right place. It can be difficult throughout the stages of adulthood. For majority of us “millennials”, its this abyss of responsibilities our parents consistently and annoying warned us about. Now rent is due, and you’re asking yourself how the hell did you end up here. Trust, I have been where you are. Only difference is, you don’t have to stay stagnate waiting for your call. Here, I will dig into every aspect that will make you not just an adult, but a successful one at that. Just note there are seven components of which is crucial in this adulthood world.

1. Health

Your health has to be the most important component of which you really have to take care of first. Now, I’m not going to tell you what kind of health style you should focus on, because lord knows there’s too many diets that simply are too much to keep track of. Nevertheless, you need to know your health effects the decisions you make as it effects all aspects, from your body condition to the mental space you control. People judge you by how you act, how you live, how you look. By keeping yourself in your best shape will attract positive people and positive things in your life. Keep that in mind “Young Padawan” (Joking I don’t even watch Star Wars like that).

2. Education

Secondly comes your education. When your parent’s said stay in school they weren’t joking. Employers will give you the blind eye figuring out you either never finished High School, or if they really have the audacity to turn up their noses once they figure out you never attempted college. Even if it’s just your Associates, it’s best to just have a degree under your belt. Times are changing faster then I’m even typing this article and better believe it’s better to be over prepared then under. I can tell you that from my own hard life experience but that’s another article for another day. Employers judge you, perspective friends will judge, hell, your family will even through shade now and then. To ensure you have some keys to success just get the degree and be done. Associates are pretty common so WHY NOT??!!

3. Career

Now where getting up to the good part. If you’ve read this far you show strength. Joking again, I hate it when people say that. Just means you have the attention any human should have in completing a reading. ANYWAY. I don’t really need to express how important a career is. I’m sure money talks for it self. At the very least, building a career is sort of like building your name, building a legacy. Going through job to job, you connect with people, build relationships that eventually guide you into something better. Or no? If I’m wrong, you can stop reading. Having a career at the very least does this and puts you in a comfortable place in life where you make money. And if that doesn’t do it for you, good luck in impressing the cute girl you won’t be able to take out earlier today. You’ll need it without money.

4. Finances

Man oh man. Need I say less or more? Money runs the world. I’m sure whatever your reading this on required money, or you’re just a freeloader. Nevertheless, you need to secure yourself in this cold cold world. Yes, your parents can help, but need I ask to what extent? For regular people like us…..you need money. Case settled. The more the merrier. The more, the better. The more, better life will be for you.

5. Decisions Decisions

On a daily basis you will need to change your mentality and stop thinking so much in the present. In adulthood you will now begin thinking for the future. And if you have kids, you can skip this step because you know exactly what I’m talking about. Thinking strategically, and in the future is where most adults find themselves. When rent is due? When will you have enough money? What will your schedule look like? What time does your kids get out of school? The secret is to double-down on planning. Planning secures any unexpected contingencies, and advances your life knowing your safe and you’ll stop worrying about your next schedule, and start to ponder on your next milestone in life. The more effective, and sophisticated your planning is. The more of a better life you will have.

6. Innovative Ideas

Yes, the article will end soon. Sheesh. Impatient are we? Just want the good part and leave me huh? I guess that’s understandable. However, having Innovative Ideas is sort of like the cherry on top of the cake. These are ideas are meant to be seen and worked on in longevity. You want to work on these ideas little by little so when the time comes it’ll change your life entirely. Take me for example. Completing my Masters Degree was one of my innovative ideas years ago. Took classes here and there for a long period of time without really thinking the most of it. When I tell you my life drastically changed when an innovative idea became reality, you quite frankly wouldn’t believe me. Aim for something big, work in increments, and watch how life works around you. Simple.

7. Meditation

Lastly, yes I said lastly. You really are impatient but it’s fine. Meditation wraps it all together. Occasionally you want to think of all these components as a collective so they can all reacting positively in your life simultaneously. Honestly, this part you’ll have to just experience for yourself as the combination of working on these components on a daily basis is like the perfect recipe for success. Try it out and tell me your findings. Hope I helped someone out there. Ok there, now I’m done.
