Fun Ways to Earn a Few Extra Dollars

There are tons of apps on your phone that you can use and earn a few extra dollars. Most of us are on our phones for five to six hours a day. Why not use that time and make yourself some money?

Here are a list of the apps I have used and earned cash from:

2. Sweatcoin
3. Cash Show
4. Ibotta
5. Ebates

Lucky Day

My favorite of them all is Lucky Day. This app is like playing the lottery for free! You get daily scratch tickets where you can win coins and cash. Once you get $10 you can have it deposited into your bank account. When you get one million coins you can buy gift cards and other prizes that have available. I recently reached 10 million coins and got a $10 Gift card to Nike. I have only been using the app for two Months. It’s a fun way to earn a few extra dollars and prizes. Plus, it is FREE. You can't beat that.

Sweatcoin

Sweatcoin is a great app for people who enjoy walking outdoors and walk often. All you have to do to earn coins is walk outside and it tracks your steps. Each step earns you a sweat coin. Once you reach over 3,000 coins you can get a $50 gift card to Nike, Netflix, Starbucks, and a few others. They also have other offers for once you reach a certain amount of coins. Like I said this app is really for people who walk outside a lot. It does not count the steps you take indoors. There is also a daily video you can watch to earn extra sweatcoins.

Cash Show

Another favorite app of mine is Cash Show. This is a fun app to play at night! There are two trivia shows that start at 8:30 and 9:30. There are a series of 12 questions. If you get past the first five you can start earning money for the answer you get right. It’s a live show, so you are going against people all over the world. The questions are moderately easy, but there a few tough ones thrown in. If you are great at trivia this is the app for you!

Ibotta

Ibotta aims to save you money on the shopping you already do. When it first came out it was only for grocery shopping. Now you can save money at basically any store you go to. I mainly use it for my grocery trips. You go onto the app and click on the store you are going to be shopping at and find the products that you plan on buying and add them. Then once you get your receipt you upload it to the app and they give you cash back for the items you just bought! I use it often and have gotten over $50 bucks back just from buying products I was already going to get.

EBates

EBates is similar to Ibotta but you get cash back depending on the store and its targeted more towards online shopping. They have recently added a feature that allows you to earn cash back from store you go into. You just have to link your card and select that store. You can allow the app to track your shopping so it automatically tells you if the site you are on has cash back.

All of these apps are user friendly and fun to use. We are all on our phones most of the day, why not make extra money! There are just a few of the top apps you can use, there are some others that I will do another article on later.
