Breeze Airways Reviews. Here is a comprehensive report on my experience on Flight 118 with Breeze Airlines from Tampa to Oklahoma City. The plane was an E195, and I had paid more for a "Nicer Fare" that included more legroom and earlier boarding (among other minor perks). That was something I'm glad I did. On the one hand, the trip was smooth and quiet, and the flight attendants were helpful.

Yet, the few flight options Breeze Airlines offers could be more convenient. I had to be resourceful to find a way to board one of their aircraft coming from San Diego. That's a lot to ask of someone like myself, who has a finite number of brain cells.

They are always really late, or they never show up at all. Or they could cancel it, as happened with my trip from LAX to Westchester, NY, four nights in a row.

The weather was perfect. The problem wasn't with that. I am a regular flier. Therefore my admission that I cannot fathom their predicament indicates how poorly they run their business.

Breeze Airways Reviews. On the few flights I could take with Breeze, I saw that their "first class" cabin charges $9.00 for a second snack after the first one is provided at no cost. On a flight lasting six hours, this is all you get.

My bag of Chex Mix was free, but I had to pay $9 more for a pack of M&Ms. I did not bring any M&Ms on my trip. My hopes of using this airline for cross-country travel from Westchester were dashed when I realized I couldn't entrust them with my pet mosquito, much less anything or anybody I cared about.

"Not Especially good."

Breeze Airways Reviews. Even though I rarely fly with discount airlines, I made an exception because they offered a direct flight that no one else did—a big mistake. In 35 years of business travel, I've never seen an airline with poorly trained, incompetent employees at every level.

And, of course, they need a customer service department to rectify the problems they've caused. They won't take calls, and if you try to email them, all you'll get is an automated response.

Not Especially Good."

The flights were direct and inexpensive, but they were both delayed by 45 minutes to over an hour for no reason, leaving me wondering whether it's worth it to risk missing my connecting trip in the future for a lower ticket.

They Delayed Ten Times."

Breeze Airways Reviews. Our flight was delayed ten times for the whole full journey! We couldn't get out of Florida. Because of all the setbacks, we didn't go home for another 24 hours. Monday, September 13, 9:55-10:05 delayed; Friday, September 16, 7:00 delayed to 10:00.

Saturday, September 17, 10:00 delayed to noon; Saturday, September 18, 2:30 delayed to 3:30; Saturday, September 19, 4:21 and still not loaded; Sunday, September 20, 4:27 started loading; Monday, September 26, 4:45 last delay; this is the additional costs.

Accommodations ($250), meals ($100), pet care ($100), and kennel fees ($400) were incurred. The $850 in missed time was added to the cost of waiting for check-ins. They need me to provide proof of purchase and would only pay back $125.00. In addition, we each received a $100 flight credit. Lol.

We won't need it anymore now that we know we won't travel with them. They refused to give me real cash for the $100.The decision to cancel flights was unrelated to the weather. The airline made too many bookings.

"Terrible customer service"

S Daniels (United States) February 20, 2023

Awful service to the public. We were going to the airport on Thursday evening, 2/16/2023 when we got the news that our flight out of Sarasota had been canceled. We had left our hotel and were on our way. Check your email; I got an SMS.

According to the email, the following day's lunchtime flight was immediately scheduled for us. Not an explanation or an apology. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we could not go on Friday, so we prolonged our trip until Sunday night.

Our flight departed 30 minutes late despite the plane's early arrival. It's not a huge matter, but prioritizing the customer's time appears to be something other than a priority.

They are the worst company, not simply the worst airline I've ever worked with. Their flight itineraries are always changing, and they need more customer assistance. Incredible that they are still operating. You are booking at your own risk, so buyer beware.

If the app stops responding, you won't be able to make any adjustments or get in touch with anybody. We received an email three hours before our departure informing us of the one-hour delay.

Unfortunately, only two hours before takeoff, we got an email telling us that the aircraft was leaving from a separate airport, fifty miles away, during rush hour. The app's time and airport still needed to update.

Because they switched airports, we had to cancel our plans and were given Breeze points instead of a refund. Since email is the sole option, I sent one and immediately got a reply directing me to the app, which does not provide refunds. Avoid Breeze airports at all costs.

Review From Daniela

Such a terrible idea, Breezy airways! The aircraft to Westchester County was delayed by three to four hours for the second time in two weeks. They care nothing about the convenience of their customers.

They have a small fleet of planes and expect to be able to cover the whole nation with them simultaneously. Book with Breeze if you have nothing better to do with your time; it will be anything but breezy. This airline has to get its act together, or it will go out of business in no time.

Review From Courtney

The terrible airline, never again! Our flight was canceled 30 minutes before departure, and the next available flight wasn't until 20 hours later.

Comment By Courtney.

We booked a flight three months before our departure, only to have it rescheduled twice. ** missed the final flight by nearly 24 hours, leaving her homeless and making her a day late to pick up the puppy from the kennel.

After becoming stuck in a never-ending texting/emailing loop due to their nonexistent customer support, I was ready to give up. The only thing they could say was that we could cancel if we wanted to. Thanks. We need to reschedule our flights immediately. I refuse to use them ever again.

Review From Victor

I've tried to use the app multiple times, but it doesn't function properly. I have a confirmation from the online store, so it's not like the app couldn't locate my flight.

Review From Mary

This was my very first and very final flight on this airline. Unfortunately, our flight was canceled at the last minute, and the next available flight in the direction we wanted to go wasn't until seven days later.

We could not fly home on a Saturday night since no other airline had connecting flights. We missed our flight and had to remain overnight to catch the next flight the next day, which was 24 hours later than planned. So, we took a standby flight on a big airline to come home early without spending an extra day in transit.

This is a nightmare! Many Breeze passengers were in the same boat as me when our flight was canceled, and we were all scrambling to find other means of transportation as quickly as possible. The direct trip has immense potential, but it depends on the airline delivering on its promises.

Review FromTony

The worst flight in my 35 years of flying. Please act. Ever! Spend a little extra money and travel with a legit airline. Even "first class" isn't that great. You pay extra, but you only get a little more spacious seat. We did not provide any refreshments.

The gatekeepers have yet to learn what they're doing. Even if you order your tickets months in advance, they will double-book you. And I've concluded that the flight attendants are unattractive and stink badly. Just don't.

PROS

"Ninety-nine percent of my fellow flight attendants are wonderful folks that I enjoyed getting to know very well" (in 4 reviews)

CONS

Poor Administration

Only when employees start leaving for firms that offer more freedom or higher compensation can they make any adjustments. User reviews are used to illustrate the pros and cons. Glassdoor did not write these reviews. Don't get me wrong, it won't break the bank, but you and the aircraft will both be late and kept waiting. It resembles the adage, "You get what you paid for"! Plenty of slacking off and tardiness.
