LeFor anyone who has a backyard garden, adding a greenhouse to their green thumb arsenal has probably crossed their mind at least a few times! Especially if you live in a colder climate, a greenhouse can help you grow more plants for longer seasons as it can create a contained, warmer climate. Plus, who wouldn't want to walk into a 70 degree greenhouse while it's 40 outside?

Even though most of us would LOVE to have a greenhouse in our backyards, one of the biggest obstacles to get around is the price. They definitely aren't the MOST expensive thing you can buy for your house, they can get pretty pricey! Greenhouses online can range from around $500 all the way up to $3,000, and those you have to put together yourself!

But, fear not! If you can't afford one of those greenhouses, Amazon has come to save the day with a new offering on their website, a $90 walk-in greenhouse that ships in two days!

Yes, you heard that right. $90, and ships in two days. Can it get any better than that?

The greenhouse, called The Home-Complete Walk-in Greenhouse, is a great option for anyone on a budget and for anyone who may not have a ton of space for a more traditional greenhouse. The dimensions for this greenhouse are 56" x 56" x 77", so you don't need a huge backyard and a bunch of open space to have this building!

It is currently retailing for $89.95, and for Prime members, it ships for free with 2-day shipping! Who knew you could get a whole building shipped to you in just two days?!

Made with a sturdy steel frame and a PVC cover, it is perfect for protecting your plants from pests, frost, and even your kids and furry friends! It features 8 sturdy shelves that provide ample room for your flowers, plants, herbs, and more. They can fit trays, pots, and planters! For a greenhouse with such a small footprint, they designed this to be able to fit as much in there as possible, while still allowing you to navigate inside. After all, what good would a greenhouse be with a bunch of storage if you couldn't get inside it?

Okay, so now you have this new amazing greenhouse that got delivered to you in lightning speed, now what? What kind of plants can you put in there? Let's breakdown the best greenhouse plants into some categories:

Vegetables that work well without extra heating or care:

  • Lettuce
  • Broccoli
  • Peas

Vegetables that work well with some added heat:

  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Squash
  • Peppers

For the above vegetables, the first list of lettuce, broccoli, and peas work well without needing extra heat. As long as you don't live somewhere that experiences extreme low temperatures, these crops will thrive in the just the ambient heat that your greenhouse will generate.

The second list of vegetables do best when they can stay in a range between 55 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on where you live, you could need an external heating element to keep your greenhouse in this range. Along with some added heat, these crops could require more materials in the greenhouse, such as supplemental lighting and trellising. This may make it tough to grow these crops in our new favorite $90 greenhouse, but it never hurts to try!

Now that we've gotten past the delicious things that we can eat, what kind of beautiful plants can we grow in the greenhouse?

  • Geraniums
  • Salvia
  • Ferns
  • Caladiums
  • Pansies
  • And so many more!

Of course, you should always do some more research into how different plants do in your specific location and zone, but the greenhouse should help you expand what you can grow throughout the year and really allow you to show off that amazing green thumb!

You can get the $90 greenhouse off Amazon here! With a 4-star rating and over 7,000 reviews, it doesn't seem like you can go wrong with this one!
