Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls

These sticky, soft cinnamon rolls are all of my favorite classic brunch desserts-including cream cheese icing-but they are ready in a very short time. Is that a secret? A tube of crescent roll dough and my Toshiba air fryer not only keeps the kitchen cool, but also bakes the rolls perfectly in 20 minutes. Here's how to do this.

Start with a can of crescent roll dough.

Crescent dough is the best way to quickly make cinnamon rolls. It can bake butter, flaky, softer than a tube of cinnamon rolls. After unfolding the dough on a piece of parchment, take a minute to squeeze the seams together. It doesn't have to be perfect, but turn them off as much as you can. Then spread the brown sugar and cinnamon stuffing on the dough, roll it up, cut it into slices, and air-fry.

INGREDIENTS

1 ounce cream cheese

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

All-purpose flour

1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon whole or 2% milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut 1 ounce of cream cheese into 8 pieces. Place it in a medium-sized bowl at room temperature to soften it, while preparing cinnamon rolls.

Put a tablespoon of salt-free butter in a small safe bowl in the microwave oven and heat it until it melts for about 30 seconds. (or melt the butter in a small pan on the stove.). It's a little cold. Meanwhile, heat the air fryer to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Add 1 beat 4 cups packaged light brown sugar and 1 prime 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder to the butter and stir well.

Cut a sheet of parchment paper about the size of the air fryer basket or tray and place on a work surface. Unroll 1 tube crescent roll dough onto the parchment. Gently press the seams together with your fingers. (It doesn’t have to be perfect.) Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly onto the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Gently press into the dough. Starting at a long side, tightly roll up the dough. Use your fingers to tightly press and seal the seam. Arrange seam-side down and cut crosswise into 8 pieces.

Arrange the rolls cut-side up, touching on another, on the parchment paper. Slide, still on the parchment, into the air fryer basket or onto the tray. Air fry until puffed and golden brown, 20 minutes. Let cool on the tray or in the basket for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, make the icing.

Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar to the cream cheese. Stir until smooth. Whisk in 1 tablespoon milk until thinned and smooth. Spread over the warm rolls and serve immediately.

Can you boil frozen green beans in an air fryer?

Yes, you can! There are two ways to fry green beans in air fryer.

Rinse the beans in a filter with cold water until they almost melt. Dry thoroughly with a paper towel, then pour in the oil and seasoning, then follow the recipe. You may need an extra two minutes.

Another frozen cooking method is to put the frozen green beans directly into the air fryer without adding any oil or seasoning. Boil every 5 minutes, throwing baskets and handing out beans each time. Every time you stop to throw a basket, check to see if the frozen beans have stagnant water and drain if necessary.). Once you have reached the desired tenderness, take the green beans out of the basket and stir in the oil or butter and the seasoning you want.

1 pound fresh green beans

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat an air fryer to 375°F. Meanwhile, trim the stem end from 1 pound green beans. Transfer to a large bowl. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and toss to combine.

Air fry in batches if needed: Add the green beans to the air fryer basket and arrange into a single layer. Air fry until the green beans are crisp-tender, 8 minutes. If you prefer your green beans a little more tender, give the basket a toss to redistribute the beans, then cook for 2 minutes more.
