It's almost summer and in the city, we can already see gardens full of colorful flowers, which delight our eyes.

You probably dream of a well-kept garden, where you can walk whenever you feel the need to recharge your batteries. Although you may think that it is impossible to have such a flower-filled garden all season long, it seems that there is a secret that can fulfill your desire.

For such a garden, it is recommended to choose flowers that never die and that are resistant to extreme conditions.

Ajuga reptans (bugle)

If you have a darker garden, which is deprived of the sun for most of the day, then you can also consider choosing this flower.

If you want to add color to your garden, you can choose this plant with blue flowers. There is no need to replant it because the roots survive in the ground during the winter.

Caladium

If you want to add a tropical note to your garden, then choose this plant with colorful leaves. The shades can vary from red, pink to white and the color of lavender.

This plant is especially suitable for darker gardens. You can leave it in the ground during the winter or you can transfer it to a pot and store it in a cool place.

Persian shield (Strobilanthes)

If you want a plant that grows anywhere, south or north, in the garden or pots, in the sun or the shade, then the Persian shield is what you are looking for.

The colorful leaves of the plant help you to have a garden with tropical influence and stand out, unlike other plants. Although it normally withstands low temperatures, it is best to keep it indoors in the winter.

Oakleaf Hydrangea

This flower is a species of hydrangea that resists very well in dark places, even under trees or in the corner of the garden. The plant usually begins to bloom in June and delights your eyes with conical flowers throughout the summer.

Autumn lily

From the list of flowers that never die, there is also the autumn lily, ideal for dark and dry gardens. The autumn lily reaches a height of about 40 cm and a width of 80 cm and grows in the form of a bush.

Ornamental grass

If you want a more colorful alternative to classic grass, then consider ornamental grass. Once planted, it spreads everywhere in the garden.

Unlike normal grass, it adds a soft texture to the garden. Match the ornamental grass with colorful flowers.

Agava (American aloe)

If you have a garden located in the sun and a dry area, choose agave, a plant that does not need shade and that survives even at high temperatures.

There is a wide range of American aloe to choose from. However, if you want to have a unique garden, we advise you to choose the one that has two-colored leaves.

The desert rose

Unlike the rose you know, the desert rose looks more like a bonsai with a thick stem. Because the vigorous stem stores water, you should not water it too often.

You can plant the desert rose directly in the garden or pots.

Succulent plants

These plants can survive without water even in the middle of summer. Because there is a wide range of succulent plants, you can confidently choose them for your summer garden.

The plants are usually small and for this reason, it is advisable to buy them in the form of a carpet from greenhouses.

Maritime Armory

If you have the "luck" of having a dark, dry garden with sandy soil, you don't have to worry about flowers.

The armory can also survive in sandy soil, on the coast, or near the beach. You can choose from shades of red, pink or white. This plant blooms in spring and can grow up to 25 cm.

Carnation (Dianthus)

Carnation is one of those flowers that you smell before you see it. Especially on clear days, with strong sun, these flowers enchant you with their scent.

You can choose carnations for your garden in shades of purple, pink, white, or lilac. Most carnations bloom only in spring, but some species can continue to bloom all summer long.

Shrubby Cinquefoil

When choosing flowers for sandy soil, try to opt for plants that need minimal care. Shrubby Cinquefoil grows very well in dry, sandy soil.

It can reach 90 cm in height and does not suffocate the other flowers and plants in your garden.

Threadleaf Tickseed

Butterflies love this flower! So, if you want to have a beautiful garden full of butterflies, choose this plant for your garden. The yellow flowers appear for a whole month, between June and July.

After the first flowers shake, others appear that can last until autumn.
