Their shoes became quite popular in the 1928 Olympics. Jesse Owens who won 4 gold medals for the US wore a pair of Addidas shoes in the same Olympic event. Fun Fact: The Founders of Adidas – the Dassler brothers, joined the Nazi Party prior to the war. They even produced a weapon called “Panzerschreck” an anti-tank bazooka.

Fun Fact: Puma is founded by Rudolph Dassler who is one of the founders of Adidas along with his brother, Adolph Dassler. Their relationship deteriorated due to which Rudolph started its own company, what we now know as Puma.

Under Armour received its first big break in 1999 when Warner Brothers contacted Under Armour to outfit two of its feature films, Oliver Stone’s Any Given Sunday and The Replacements.

Under Armour is constantly promoting its products with many celebrities out there. One of its most fiscally beneficial marketing strategies has been its collaboration with actor Dwayne Johnson, who has endorsed the company since January 2016.
