Twins Day Festival 2021 was held in Twinsburg, Ohio, it started on Friday August 6th and will continue through Sunday August 8th. It will include lots of events. There will be a golf , volleyball , and cornhole tournaments. Lot's of food and fireworks. And the main event the Double Take Parade.

This year’s theme was the ‘Roaring Twinties’. Nice paly on words. It did not disappoint, as we saw lots of flappers, gangsters, and baseball players. Best of all there were two of each. Drink some of that 20’s moonshine and you would think you’re seeing double.

Here is a sample of a few of the Twins, but this is only a couple. The parade was over a mile long. There were twins of all ages, a lot dresses up to reflect the roaring 20's. One thing for sure, they were all having a good time.

A lot of the citizens of Twinsburg lines the route to cheer them one. It's hard to tell who was having more fun, the Twins in the Parade or the people watching. I think it would be far if we called it a draw.

Why here comes a couple young flappers, and wait a minute, their dogs are Twins also? You don't see that ever day.

With the Twenties theme we were bound to see some women proudly reminding us of the women's suffrage movement. These ladies did not disappoint us.

Wait a minute, twin dinosaurs. Is this 1920 or 20,000 BC. Those guys look hunger. I sure hope the Rotary Club has some hotdogs leftover. The two gentleman to their left may want to be careful.

This brave you girl is piloting her own plane. What a great tribute to Amelia Earhart one of America's early pioneers in air travel.

Not sure if they had cell phones in the 1920's. But with those great outfits we can over look it. These girls are ready to head to the speakeasy. We may see them doing the Charleston later.

If it's the 1920's you are sure to run into a few gangsters. These guys may want to watch out for the law. That car looks fast, but you don't want to go up against the Twinsburg Police Department.

Of course we can't forget America's favorite pastime. It looks like these guys may want to play a double header.

As you can see a good time was had by all.

To think this all started in 1976 as part of our countries bicentennial celebration. The following year they decided to keep Twins Day going. That year they had 38 sets of twins and they never looked back.

Over the next 43 years there has been over 77,000 sets of twins from all over the United States and even foreign countries. The festival receives international media coverage, alone with national and local coverage.

It has not gone unnoticed by the Guinness Book of World Records, with it holding the record for Largest Gathering of Twins in the World. A record not likely to be broken, because Twinsburg plans to keep having these festivals well into the future.

Some of the proceeds form the days events will go to college scholarships, helping Twinsburg High School Seniors. It would be hard to find a better cause.

It is estimated that 20,000 to 30,000 people attend Twins Day each year. Of course the local business are happy to accommodate the people who visit this great midwestern city. One thing is certain, Twinsburg, Ohio knows how to throw a party.

Her are a couple of YouTube Video's showing the Parade.
