Do you send out emails?

Well, of course, you do.

People say that Emails have lost their popularity, But think the opposite way, and I am sure email is and will continue to be a cheap and efficient way to promote your brand and even your website. And the main reason I think for this to be true is that everybody uses an Email to contact officially; and Did I mention that we check our emails more often than our Social Media handles?

Now, I have told that Emails have more efficient chances of getting opened by your target audience, So the question arises on how to promote our site without spamming people with useless content.

You can drive more traffic to your website through your email signature.

Yes, you read it correctly.

At the bottom of every single email, you can include your email signature, and you need not put it every time you send an email; it automatically gets attached to it.

In your email signature, you can promote your business by putting links to your products, your website, and much more if you are creative enough.

It's a cheap and straightforward way to invite people to visit your site, and also it puts you as a trustworthy person and adds a positive point for you.

One more thing you can do along with placing your website link is putting your Social media profile link. You can place all the links to your social media handles or just one link to your LinkedIn if you are a business person, if you are an influencer, you can put your Instagram and Facebook links. Even if you own a Youtube channel, you can set the link in the signature. (But I would suggest just one link because if you put so many links, people might not click on anyone, but if you put one, they will tend to click.)

The simple format to this is, pick a social profile, let's say it's Twitter.

You can say, "Hey, want to follow me on Twitter?

I appreciate it if you would."

By placing something simple like that within your email signature, more people will follow you on the social web, and then when you share content on those social sites related to your website; it will drive traffic again back to your site.

You can Put a Disclaimer at the bottom of your email, which might interest your prospect, and it could start a conversation fulfilling the purpose of your email.

The next tactic I have for you, and this is elementary, every time you have a new blog post or new product update your email signature with this.

Check out my latest blog post/product, and please share it.

That's it.

By doing that, people will click through, go to your latest blog post, and share it.

The next thing I have for you is to link to all the places you've gone for the press.

Startups are well known for doing this, so like the founders of startups don't just link out to their websites, they'll also say, "Oh, why not check out our latest CNN article, or latest entrepreneur.Com article?

Check it out here."

By driving more people to the articles that talk about you, those articles will get more traction, more social shares, and more backlinks. They're going to rank higher in Google, and that indirectly is going to drive more traffic back to your website.

Now, when you're trying to drive traffic through your email signature make sure you're not doing more than two of these things at the same time.

You don't want to link out to your website, tell people to follow you on the social web, and tell people to share your latest blog post.

So, only pick two of them and do them at the same time.

Never do three or four at the same time, it's just too overwhelming from people, and it's asking them for too much.
