The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has caused the world to stop and disfunction. Almost all the countries at lockdown, people are being forced out of their jobs and being locked up in their homes. Although most people are home, everyday heroes are back at their job and providing service to everyone. Here are some of the jobs that have earned more respect.

Cashiers

Cashiers have been in service not taking time off. Almost all of the grocery stores are open. The cashiers are also most likely to be contaminated by the disease. They touch the groceries, pack up the purchased products, and keep close contact with customers. Their chances of contaminating the disease is high. Mayors and locals have especially pointed out the work done by cashiers and highly praising them. We thank them for their service!

Nurses

Not having much of a big name in the medical industry, they have surely worked hard through these times. They are very closely in contact with people and have a much higher chance of getting the virus. Usually working long hours to treat as much patients as possible. People all around the world are cheering on them. We thank them for their service!

Postal Workers

The postal servicemen have been delivering to people all around the world. Since almost all of the businesses have closed down, it's now their task to send us our needs. No one really talks about the importance about the postal workers, but there will be a very high demand in the future. We thank them for their service.

Barbers

This has to be one of the biggest problems for everyday people. With their growing exponentially and no barbers are around to cut their hair is causing a lot of problems. Either having to stick with the 3 feet of hair or having to get a buzz cut because no one else knows how to cut their hair. After the quarantine don't be surprised if there are lines cranking up because they need a haircut. We thank them for their service.

Doctors

The world can't live without them and it's really showing. With 20% of coronavirus cases having to end up in the hospital, the doctors have a lot of work to do. They are working long hours and curing as many people as they can. All the money in the world could be given to the amount of work they do, but it won't be enough. They are very closely contacted with the people that have the virus. The world should have a national holiday dedicated to the medical workers!

Gas Station Workers

Everyone needs gas for their car to drive. So, all the gas stations are up and ready to work. New Jersey being the only state where you are not allowed to pump your own gas that puts them more in danger because they come in close contact with the people and hold their cash or credit card that's been touched several times. We thank them for their service!

Customer Service

With customer service being a critical part of a business especially online, it's taking a big hit with the limited amount of workers. I personally had a problem with Paypal and they wouldn't reply back to my call because no one is at work! Some sites have it better than others, but without them it's very difficult to solve problems. We thank them for their service!

Conclusion

The world is starting to finally give respect to low paying and labor required jobs. Who knows how it will be like in the future? Will AI start replacing jobs? Will humans not come closely with anyone? Will cryptocurrencies be used instead of the dollar. These are questions that we will be seeing answered in the near future. For now, let's pay respect to these people for their job.
