Thunivu : No Guts - No Glory

Tamil Movie Review (India)

A mob enters a private bank with a plan to rob it. Someone who is there is holding the robbers while they go in with guns blazing and intimidate people into submission. He is Ajith. Everyone applauds as he wraps up the robbers and holds them at gunpoint. Then, he says, I also came to rob this bank.

The first half of the film looks like a stylish bank heist. By turning it upside down, Vinod has lively carried the serious matter of financial frauds by banks, economic crimes under the law, mutual fund scams, the insolent rules of banks that exploit the common man in the second half. Everyone can easily understand the theme of the film as those who are caught using credit cards like a tiger caught their tail, those who lost their little money in the bank because they did not maintain the minimum balance when they were stuck in poverty. 'Damn you! Ajith asks the founder of the bank, 'Would the money have remained the same even if it had not been put in a bank?'

The magic of this film is Ajith, Ajith, Ajith. "Would you put your hands on a wretch like me?" The villainy he shows so cool is amazing. Although introduced as an anti-hero, he turns out to be a superhero who throws light on a huge economic crime. There is no villain in the film to feed a mass hero like Ajith. However, in this film, the hero is up against invisible, subtle enemies. That is, the money crocodiles who run the system and the ruling class who work hand in hand with them to ignore the welfare of the common man. Soothsayers don't always land directly on the pitch. “Am I robbing a bank? No. Is the bank robbing people?” The ruling class is cleverly building Ajith, who brings economic crime to the attention of the people

Ajith has acted with relish from his debut scene with a gray beard and mustache till the end.

If there is true light in the heart

A light will flash in the window

Ajith, who is clear about action on Bharathiyar's lines, boldly confronts governments.

The private banker backed by the Union and state governments is holding captive the big crocodiles, the mutual fund investment crocodile and the scam tycoon. Although Ajith is known for dancing, singing and talking, the economic issues he talks about are deep.

His assistant Manjuwari also handles guns. Shoots.

Actors including Veera who comes to the bank, GM Sundar, Prem, bank chief Jankokane, police commissioner Samuthirakani, inspector Bux, policeman Mahanadhi Shankar and others are moving around in the story.

Niravsha has done a good job of making sure that the scenes are not boring even though most of the shooting is inside the same building. Despite his responsibility, there is drought here and there.

Gibran's music features Ajith's favorite self-confident songs. He must have had a manquet for the sound of various gunshots in the background music. Even after coming out of the movie, the sound of gunshots is still heard in the ears.

Directed by A. Vinod, the film is full of unbelievable scenes, but it is completed by explaining how much the innocent people are affected by the schemes of the Union government, which is lobbying that everyone should open an account in the bank, transact money through the bank, if you have money in your hand, do not keep it at home, put it in the bank or invest in financial schemes and stock markets. .

Samuthirakani says to the Task Force that enters on the order of the Union Minister, Ravinder says that this is Tamil Nadu, your work will not work here and it is a place where oil is poured in the current political heat.

The minimum balance was 5000 and we took 40 for the SMS alert. So when GM Sundar, who plays the role of a bank manager, says that the minimum balance is at least 500 fine per month, it is exposed how much the banks cheat the poor people.
