Anhui Huainan working sister returned to raise prairie chicken business, lead villagers on the road to prosperity

In Wangwei Village, Pingwei TOWN, Panji District, Huainan City, Anhui Province, a row of net chicken houses are hidden among the mountains and forests, among which the prairie chickens are flying, and from time to time, there are waves of chirping and pecking sound, which is very lively. This is Huihong Rare Poultry breeding professional cooperative. The owner of nearly 10,000 prairie chickens is Wang Yanhui, a female entrepreneur who has returned home to start her own business. Since the age of 18, Wang Yanhui has been working outside the home for many years. She did not earn much money and could not take care of her family. After careful consideration, she chose to start her own business back home. In 2011, after much consideration, she decided to raise prairie chickens. On the one hand, pheasant has high added value, low breeding cost and easy management. On the other hand, the demand for prairie chicken in China has increased dramatically in recent years, and the price has also gone up all the way.

In 2012, Wang Yanhui went to breeding companies in Shandong, Fujian and other places successively to learn others' advanced breeding technology, management mode and marketing strategy, and accumulate the experience needed to start a business. In 2013, after many demonstrations, Wang Yanhui and other five farmers raised 2.8 million yuan to establish Huihong Rare Poultry Breeding professional Cooperative, and served as the chairman. The cooperative transferred nearly one hectare of land, built seven large chicken houses by themselves, and then imported 7,000 chicken chicks from Fujian without a stop. Wang Yanhui and his partners waited on the pheasant from dawn to dusk. Four months later, the first batch of pheasant seedlings began to market smoothly and netted 300,000 yuan. As a result, they grew bigger and bigger, buying another 3,000 chicken chicks to expand.

However, starting a business can't always be easy. In 2013, there was a problem in pheasant breeding. Due to the poor breeding techniques of workers, the temperature in the chicken coop was too low, and 30% of the pheasant chicks died, resulting in heavy losses. In the face of the heavy blow, Wang Yanhui did not bow to difficulties, with the help of family and friends, timely disaster relief resumed production, immediately recovered the loss. "Now there is no worry about sales, are customers come to buy pheasant, car into car sold to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces. The profit is also very good, and the average of each rooster is about 60 yuan, and each hen is about 40 yuan. Because the food of prairie chicken is corn, rice bran, etc., the cost is not high, and the profit of each chicken retail is more than half. Now the cooperative sells more than 70,000 animals a year, with a net profit of more than 10 million yuan." Wang Yanhui said with a smile. In the entrepreneurial success at the same time, Wang Yanhui also did not forget the villagers, led the villagers to engage in aquaculture, increase income, run well-off. She constantly propagandized her own ideas and methods of getting rich, and also took the initiative to go on the door, persuade others to take the road of raising chickens. She always provides free technical guidance and financial support to anyone who wants to raise them. She attended the "chicken raising technology" training course held by the government for free, and trained thousands of chicken raising technicians. No matter who's chicken is sick, she's always there to teach her skills. She is known for her willingness to help others. Her Huihong Rare poultry breeding cooperative has 155 members, basically realizing unified supply of materials, unified access to chicken seedlings, unified epidemic prevention, unified sales, and an annual income increase of more than 30,000 yuan.

Enterprising people are not willing to stop moving forward. In 2016, Wang Yanhui acquired Huainan Breeding network trading platform, entered the e-commerce industry, and determined to build their own prairie chicken brand, ready to establish an ecological industrial park, set up breeding, tourism, leisure in one. "When the time comes, I hope to drive more villagers to get rich by raising chickens, and welcome friends from all over the country to come here for sightseeing." For the future, Wang Yanhui is full of vision.
