That’s My Biz: A Low Cost Ad Creation Service for the New Shoestring Budget Resources Network

Affordable advertising and promotional help for freelancers, side hustlers, creators, and small online businesses

By now, most online workers realize that getting noticed online can be difficult when you’re trying to build a business on a shoestring budget.

It's not simply about having a good service, an interesting product, a growing audience, or a promising side hustle. What you may not have is a large advertising budget—or the time and resources needed to constantly promote what you do.

That’s where That’s My Biz comes in.

The promotional ad creation service I developed is now being introduced through my newly launched Shoestring Budget Resources website; a space where I’m bringing together affordable tools, services, products, and promotional opportunities that may be useful to people trying to build something online without spending a fortune.

Just What is “That’s My Biz”?

The simple answer?

That’s My Biz is a promotional advertising and marketing service designed to help individuals and small businesses create attractive, attention-getting ads without requiring a big advertising budget.

My main focus of my business is on creating promotional ads while also looking for complimentary ways to give those ads additional exposure.

My goal isn't simply to create an ad and hand it over.

I’m equally interested in finding practical, low-cost—or no-cost—ways to help get that ad in front of additional eyes, whether I'm paid to or not.

Anyone Can Benefit From It

It doesn't matter if you freelance, create, sell, influence, or operate some type of business online, you're probably exactly the type of person this service was created to help.

That includes:

  • Freelancers

  • Side hustlers

  • Influencers

  • Product creators

  • Content creators

  • Small business owners

  • Entrepreneurs

  • Online service providers

You don't necessarily need a large company behind you when you're seeking exposure.

As a matter of fact, my service is particularly relevant to people who are still building their businesses and watching every dollar they spend on promotion.

The Main Service I Offer is Affordable Ad Creation

The primary service offered through That’s My Biz is promotional ad creation and low-cost marketing support.

The idea is straightforward: I provide an affordable way for someone to turn information about their business, service, product, or online activity into a visual promotional advertisement they can actually use.

An ad can help introduce a business to people who might otherwise never know it exists.

But creating the ad is only part of the equation.

Getting attention for the ad is the other part.

That's why I'm also exploring opportunities to provide additional exposure through web resources, YouTube content, ad showcases, and other promotional avenues.

The Website and Ad Service Work Together

One thing I want That’s My Biz to do, is work in harmony with the idea and philosophy of my newly launched: Shoestring Budget Resources website.

That's because with the new resource site, I'll be constantly listing the details about countless websites, online tools, products, services, and platforms that can potentially help someone operate and promote a business more efficiently.

Some are free.

Some are inexpensive.

And some are simply affordable alternatives to more expensive solutions.

Through the Shoestring Budget Resources website and related That’s My Biz activities, I can share information about those resources while creating opportunities for businesses and creators to gain additional visibility.

This has always been my method of operation, even as a prolific writer on the Medium website, where I spent countless hours and effort, helping promote and support fellow writers.

I know the kind of web resources come in handy online. I'll be supportive to those I create ads for especially, by offering exposure in YouTube videos, ad showcases, and even by providing visibility for their promotional products, and customized marketing materials.

Why “Shoestring Budget” Resources?

Obviously, the name I chose for my website is intentional.

I'm well aware that not everyone starting a business has venture capital, a corporate marketing department, or hundreds of dollars available for every advertising experiment.

  • Some people are simply trying to make their first sale.

  • Others are trying to turn a side hustle into something more substantial.

  • Some are freelancers looking for their next client.

  • Others have created products or content and simply need more people to discover them.

No matter what the cause or the purpose, even people on limited budgets deserve access to useful resources and opportunities to promote what they're doing.

And sometimes, a little visibility can go a long way.

There Is Another Side to This

It makes sense that people providing affordable services are often looking for affordable services themselves.

--> A freelance graphic designer may need a website.

--> A content creator may need promotional help.

--> A small business owner may need an affordable logo, form, video, or marketing tool.

--> A person offering a service may also be searching for someone who can provide another service they need—without blowing their budget.

Without a doubt, people aren't just selling online. They're also buying, building, experimenting, learning, and looking for better ways to get noticed.

I hope they come to me to do it, because after all, that's my biz!

Final Thoughts

I sincerely hope that if you're a freelancer, creator, entrepreneur, side hustler, small business owner, or online service provider with something worth promoting, you allow That’s My Biz to try and help.

The service is now available through the new Shoestring Budget Resources website, along with other resources designed with budget-conscious online businesses and independent creators in mind.
