If someone were to ask what was the most heart wrenching effect of September 11th 2001 it wouldn’t be far fetched to mention the children who were directly impacted. Thousands of children lost their parents in the attacks of September 11th and a handful of children actually lost their lives. Take a minute to look through the young eyes of the children who had the worse seat in the house on September 11th 2001.

The 9/11 attacks rocked the entire planet to the point of making everyone take a closer look at life and everyone living it. For some this meant appreciating our neighbors more. For others this meant seeing your fellow neighbor with eyes of hatred. The group of people who were caught in the eyesight of that hatred was the Islamic community.

9/11 Stairclimb 2024
I woke up this morning at 5:45 a.m. For the past four years I have considered this Saturday to be one of the most important Saturdays ever. This first Saturday of September is always the day my hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina hosts the event known as the 9/11 Stairclimb. This event is actually held in many cities across the country. They’re meant to commemorate the rescue workers who gave their lives saving lives on the morning of 9/11.
