I Was One Handshake from Castro
It’s a commonly held perception that anyone is only six or less social links (degrees of separation) away from any other living person on this planet, whether it’s the President of Russia or one of the Kardashians, perish the thought. It’s also known as the six handshakes rule, although ‘rule’ seems a rather strange word in the context.

Practices That Make You Look Like a Rookie Blogger
Hey! So, we know you're a pro when it comes to blogging. You've been doing it for years, and you're so great at it that you can write about any topic. But just because you're amazing at writing doesn't mean you don't need help getting better results from your blog posts. We want to help you get better results by giving you some tips on how to make yourself look like a rookie blogger. There are three practices that make people look like rookies: 1) Writing in the first person 2) Using passive voice 3) Using too many exclamation points Do you feel like a rookie blogger? Do you feel like you're never going to get the hang of all this blogging stuff? Don't worry—you're not alone. There are a lot of people out there who feel the same way. But what if I told you that there was a way to look like an expert in less than an hour? What if I told you that all it takes is practice and determination, and suddenly your blog will be more professional looking than ever before? Well, it's true! And there's no reason why YOU can't do it too! All you have to do is follow these simple steps: 1) Find a theme for your blog that fits with the tone of your content and what kind of reader base you want to attract (i.e., casual readers, tech-savvy readers, etc.). 2) Create a header/logo design that reflects that theme as well as how far along your blog has gotten. 3) Add some relevant tags (i.e., #bloggerproblems). You're a professional blogger, and you have the skills and knowledge to be great at it. But it's not enough to just know how to blog—you need to practice, practice, practice until you get it right. Here are three practices that will help you look like a pro: 1. Write consistently Consistency is key to improving your writing and making your writing more readable. This means setting aside time every day to write for at least 15 minutes, no matter what else is going on in your life. If you can't find 15 minutes every day, carve out a chunk of time during the week when you can write regularly (e.g., every morning, afternoon, or evening). 2. Make sure your content is engaging You can't expect people to keep coming back if they don't find what they're looking for on your website or blog—or if they find too many dead links or outdated information! Make sure that all of your content is relevant and informative; it should answer questions and solve problems for readers. That way when people come across an article about something related to their interests, they'll want to read more! What if you could make your blog look like a veteran? It's not impossible, you just need to know what to do. Here are some tips that can help you get started: 1. Don't use the same font as the others in your niche. It may seem like it's a good idea to use the same font as everyone else, but you don't want to look like everyone else! You need to stand out from the crowd and make sure that visitors know you're not just another blog in the pack. 2. Use a logo that stands out from the rest of your posts! You should be able to recognize it immediately as yours and not someone else's. And don't forget about SEO—make sure that people can find your logo on Google Images so they can see how great it looks! 3. Stay away from stock photos or stock images unless they're absolutely necessary (like buttons or other elements on your site). This will help improve readability and create consistency throughout all of your content.

I am still quite new to Vocal, and maybe so are you. So let’s get acquainted, shall we? Here, let me start: my name’s Claire Guérin (don’t worry about the accent on top of the e there), and I'm a writer. It feels strange to write this out loud, but I have a few stories on Vocal now, so there. I’m a writer, probably just like you, and I’m an aspiring author. If you want to know more about what I write, check me out on this and other platforms, and subscribe to my newsletter to know when my first novel comes out.
