God's Grace
I had to go to Gatlin Feed today. I've written about making the run to the feed store before. It's a routine thing, sometimes annoying, sometimes ordinary, sometimes absurd--but it's always routine. Most of the time, I head down the road to the rural highway, take a couple of surface roads, ride a few miles down the interstate to another surface road, and there I am. When I'm done, I usually head a little farther up the highway to hit Tractor Supply or Petsense or Walmart, then hit another surface road to the state highway to a different rural highway to surface roads home. Today, because I was running late to pick up a grocery order at Walmart, I reversed the process. That put me going past the chicken plant at the change of shift.

Both sides behaved rationally within the contract they signed. The contract was the problem.

Are Vocal Promoting Themselves Enough?
Introduction When i was tempted to join Vocal I remeber seeing advertisements for a writing platform where I could win huge amounts of money if I subscribed to their model, and you know I can resist anything but temptation, so I joined up, and while there have been times that Vocal have annoyed the hell out of me, like when you get entries to challenges that break the rules like this. I am not blaming the creator, and it can be easily corrected, but I am blaming Vocal because some should not have placed. This failed basic rules but was given a Top Story and a Challenge placement.

A Letter to the Neutral Bystander
Dear Friend, You often say that you prefer to stay away from all that political noise. When conversations at the dinner table or on social media shift toward social justice, human rights, or systemic inequality, you quietly step back. You proudly declare that you are neutral, that you believe in good vibes only, and that you prefer to focus on your personal growth, your career, and your mental peace. You believe that by not taking a side, you are avoiding conflict and keeping your heart pure.
