This is for both man and woman how to be successful.

I have been with this company for the past thirteen years. These are some of the lessons which I have learned the hard way from personal experience. I do not want anyone of you to do the same mistakes which I have made over the past thirteen years. I have seven keys if you use could make you successful in any workplace.

Key one: Respect.

It would be wise to treat others as you would expect to be treated. Whenever you are facing a difficult situation, it is important to focus on the situation, issue or behaviour and not the person. It is also important for you to maintain the self-confidence and self-esteem of your fellow workers and bosses.

Key Two: Personal Accountability

It is so important for you to be responsible for your actions and to expect the same of others. It is very good to be open and honest as well as loyal to the company.

Key Three: Integrity and trust.

It is very important to act ethically and to uphold professional and organizational standards. To be successful, it is so important to maintain constructive relationships. Now, from personal experience, it is not wise to date your fellow work partners. I did this at Mcdonalds in 1992, however, this worked out for me since this young lady has been married to me for the past twenty-six years. She actually still likes me. This is not normal so as a rule, it is not wise to have a close relationship with a fellow work partner. No matter what the consequences are, always do what is right in every situation.

Key Four: Safety.

The rule is rather simple. It is wise to avoid harm to body, mind and soul. I will leave this to your imagination of what this means for you personally.

Key Five: Performance.

Now, I do not have to tell anyone how important performance is in any job. This is why they have performance reviews every year. This is why it is important to read and understand the values of the company and to try to include these values in everything you do in your life. There are little eyes and ears out in the community who will report you to your bosses. It is important to promote teamwork and to support all of your fellow work partners by providing exceptional service. It is so wise to take the initiative to make things much better. It is important to lead by example.

Key Six: Communication.

It is so important to seek first to understand by listening. It is important to be open and honest so that trust can be built in any working relationship. It is very wise to praise more frequently than you take the time to criticize. This means you must avoid gossip and rumour-mongering. This means it is unwise to ask one of your co-workers if a bit of gossip is true or not. It might not be your gossip but spreading it is just as bad.

Key Seven: Learning:

The day you stop learning is the day you stop living. To be successful it is wise to embrace any opportunities to learn and to grow as a worker and as an individual in your personal life. These courses are so helpful in order to do the best job which you could possibly do.

These seven keys are not the only ones that one can do to make your workplace a great place to work in. However, this will be a great place to start as you start to better your workplace or start a new job. It is what you do with this advice that will determine your success or your nonsuccess. Now the ball is in your court. So, use these keys very wisely and if you do I am sure that you can be successful.
