With this Machine I bring life

"Under, over, under, and loop don't for get to pull and cut" At least that's what I've been taught to do. Sewing something that's nearly as old as human kind itself, from the Ancient Egyptian to big names like "Guess" an art form that stands against time itself. Me hmm I enjoy sewing, making pillows for my bed to giant cosplay, basically cosplay is like wearing a homemade costume that you show off at events, for fun. Let's dive deeper, this is not about sewing outfits and other objects no, this is all about the Machine that helps make nothing into anything.  Since I was seven and machines were beginning to be apart of our human life I felt q slight attraction to such objects, "how do they work?" "What happens if I take it apart and put it back together?" This was my mind that was my art. From the original Snes to 3D printers I've turned most Machines into a goal for me to create to build. Rather it be completely a videogame to making giant props like a double sided six feet tall scythe. All of which could be created using a Machine.

No thanks to the pandemic my passion has been hit with a match, seeing as new faces go into your old favorite stores and buying the things you need. I felt as if a part of me was drifting away. Sadness over game me and projects at frist were put on the back end of my mind maybe not ever coming back. Until  it hit me, you may not know of A.I the first as far as we know virtual YouTube,  but you might of heard of Vocaloids the first group of virtual beings. They awoken my spark. If I can't go out physically to buy and make what I want then I'll just use a computer, I'll make ev everything virtual. Turns outs it's a lot cheaper and it smashes all the things I love to do into one. Making my own virtual character with her own virtual cosplay outfits. A match made from heaven. Since last year I've been able to follow the small bubble community and learn how to bring my own to life. I am already good with photoshop thanks to an old 3D chat program called Imvu and being a creator of clothes on that so that gave me a leg up, now all I have to do is learn blender and unity, which for me I was excited for since those two programs are also used for making videogames and I do love to game and know how it all works. So I get started on the VR( virtual reality) creator program and start designing my model the way as if she was going to be her own person so she needs to have a story. Let's start with one of my favorite topics "Ancient Egypt"  since Elementary school I was always fond  of it, so let's make her a goddess , hmm her parents, Bassett the cat goddess and Anubis the Jackel God. Weird right? Yes the way I wanted it and how would she of been born? Well most gods in Ancient stories aren't born like we humans so, that much I still don't know. Now that I have that much set her skintone was created, a nice chocolate with orange and blue highlighted hair, she's a goddess so normal hair is out of the question. I've then given her horns but not normal horns, this horns are slightly bent and burned into them is a halo and lastly her eyes a teal green with two pupils so she has four in all. Like magic she is born, then on to Photoshop where all her outfits can be made, with nothing but a flat template infront this is the true magic. Trying to stay in the line of the template, because anything outside a certain area will either One, not be seen or two bleed into another section for example if I want her to wear the traditional gold necklace Pharaoh's wore I would draw it from the near the underarm to the chest of the template, if I go to far on either side of the underarm her design would show up on the shoulders. This was the extreme part because I am working on a nearly blank one dimension surface and transferring it on to a three dimension virtual character. Now I know what game designers have to work with. It took weeks but I've made several different outfits for Basubis, yes her name. Two outfits of Egyptian origin and four of cosplay. I've proudly showed them off using my knowledge of machines and bringing her into reality through some Augmented reality apps, going an extra step trying to bring this art to life. As of now I am at a stand still with her as Virtual reality is growing and I can not show her off they way I want with life always getting in the way, but I still when I have the chance make outfits for her and do photo shoots as my progress gets better, I may not be able to show the world what I can bring to the world of virtual reality but it is fun to be able to create and just be apart of it and watching as it grows.Start writing...
