The world suddenly came to a halt… All activities stopped, well the normal activities we are used to doing. Now, all we have is a new normal and no one can tell until when everything is restored to the “Normal” we are used to. So we need to accept and adjust to this new normal that we have now.

We are in the second quarter of 2020 when the Pandemic called COVID 19 spread like hellfire around the world. Thousands of lives are lost…. Millions of lives are shaken…. Uncertainties are everywhere… The word ‘Normal’ is suddenly eradicated and is replaced with the word ‘New’ before it. Normal is no longer the word "Normal" in the old days. Welcome to the “New Normal” world!

With the pandemic still going on, lots of people lost their jobs and lots of businesses have closed down. Having no income added to the stress of all people around the world. Most people and businesses have changed strategy when it comes to the income stream. The trends then become the online job, online selling, online businesses, and deliveries. These are the thriving income stream in these trying times. The most in-demand nowadays is the food business, but as we all know food businesses become saturated and congested that competition becomes stiff and difficult. So some resort to businesses that can thrive during the pandemic. Some venture into other types of business but still online. Selling online regardless of what type of products they are selling.

Let’s take a look at those non-food products you can sell online.

Bags. Yes, you can’t go out as much as you want just like before but you still do go out and you still need a bag to carry with you especially now that you need important things to bring like an extra face mask, sanitizer, or alcohol, face shield or anything that can protect you from the virus.

Shoes. Lots of people still buy shoes as life must go on and still need something to wear comfortably when you are out to do something or an errand or anything that you need to do outside.

Clothes. You still have to wear clothes regardless if you go outside your house or not. As human beings, the desire to wear something nice is still there and will never be lost and never be taken away.

Face masks and face shields. These items are considered the basic need during the pandemic. As previously mentioned, as a human being, the desire to be fashionable will never be taken away. Face masks and face shields trends now are those decorative and fashionable ones.

The mentioned above are just to name a few. Now, how do these businesses thrive amid a pandemic? As this is an online business so an online strategy must be applied by businesses for their company or brand to thrive. What are those strategies that they must do? Well, one of the strategies is to always maximize the use of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and many more. As much as possible, do these marketing thru organic means to avoid further cost.

For everyone to survive, think, and act fast and be the leader. We should not wait for this pandemic to end before we act on how to survive…. Let us not give this pandemic the chance to cripple everyone. Let us still do our best to reach our dreams and never let these trying times dampen your drive to reach your goals.
