Even after Halloween is gone and we head into winter, I am still going to be craving punpkins. November is going to be a busy month for me. As many writers will know, November is national novel writing month and many will be aiming to write 50,000 words by the end of the month. I’ve managed to do it a few times when I’ve took part, but I don’t think I will be taking part of NaNoWriMo this time. However, I still have lots of things to look forward to in the upcoming days. I’ve got my writing meet ups that I can go to. Well, I have to go to the Banbury one because I’m in charge of the money.

By the time this has been published, I may have already gone these already.

Sugababes @ The 02 Arena in Birmingham

Sugababes were a band I listened to a lot when I was younger. I still listen to them, and I am happy the original line up are back together because I loved their debut album, One Touch. This will be my fourth time seeing them, and the second time I have seen them this year. I am hyped to see them, because I am bringing my friend, Maddy there. Hopefully I will see some people from the Sugababes group on Facebook.

The Winter V show at the NEC in Birmingham

I found out about this through vegan groups on Facebook and WhatsApp. I’m plant based, and I do make a lot of mistakes and cheat, but I feel that a vegetarian and plant-based diet is one that suits me. I was happy to be able to get free tickets to this event. I look forward to trying out new things and watching some cooking shows. It will give me some ideas of what to cook at home.

Nightwish in Wembley

Nightwish are one of my favourite bands, and since Floor joined the band, I have made an effort to see them in every show they do in Wembley. I can’t wait to see them again. I am going with Maddy again and it will be her second concert and she truly got the gig fever. It’s nice that I have seen Nightwish several times with different people. I really hope they sing Ghost Love Score as it’s an incredible song.

Oxford Indie Book Fair

I’ve been lucky to be able to sell some of my books online and offline, but this is the first time I will have a stall dedicated to my work. I hope I have prepared myself for it. I have copies of a few of my books, QR codes for my other works and also a card reader for contactless payments.

My work being translated and being recorded for audiobooks. If some of the UK promo codes are available, I will give them out in the venue.

Vegfest UK

I got free tickets to Vegfest in London which also clashes with MCM Comic Con in Birmingham. I could do one on the Saturday and one on the Sunday, but with rail strikes, I need to decide which one to go for and if I want to spend money on Comic Con. I didn’t go to the comic con in London because I thought for spending £60 to go to something to buy stuff I can either get online or in my local HMV shop.

Christmas Shopping

I want to do as much shopping as I can ready for Christmas. I need to make some plans so I could keep an eye out on good deals. I got given £230 of Amazon vouchers for switching my broadband internet. I might also make a bit of money at the book fair as well.

Hopefully I won’t burn myself out this month!
