A truly independent builders merchant with branches in Surrey & Sussex, serving Kent, Hampshire and South London. We have evolved as a ‘service first merchant’ having steadily grown and widened the portfolio. More recently adopting a professional management team to Laker Bulk bagfurther enhance the founding values and principles that have allowed Laker to flourish.

We aim to meet the needs of all construction and refurbishment projects, large or small, as well accommodating the important DIY marketplace. With further branches in the pipeline, recently doubling the size of Crawley, Pulborough & soon our Cranleigh depot. Whether you require timber, drainage fittings, wood screws, concrete floor beams, fence panels or lintels we hold large stocks of all everyday building products, available for delivery or collection. With a varied fleet of delivery vehicles from 26 ton, hi-ab lorry to 18 tonne hi-abs. With all branches having two, 3.5 ton tippers and flatbeds for same day deliveries, we can be sure to confidently meet ALL customer delivery requirements.

Above all else, our expert team are on hand to assist you between 7am & 5pm Monday to Friday. Also on Saturday’s from 8am until midday. Rest assured, we are happy to advise which building materials are most suitable. We can even arrange training for specific products, as EDPM and Cure-it & other technical solutions. All branches carry great stocks of timber materials; from sawn softwood, (treated) & sheet materials. We also offer longer lengths, hardwood, engineered timber, softwood, or pressure treated and hardwood sleepers, cladding, flooring architrave and mouldings.
