How to get around Dubai
Your ultimate guide for seamless travelling

If you are set to visit Dubai and wish to stay in its industrial, commercial, and logistical hotspot, Jebel Ali, for your work but wish to also explore the top attractions and experiences there, then you will need to find a means of navigating to your desired destination quickly. So arm yourself with the necessary information connected to transport options available in this area. Getting around Dubai will be easy if you follow this guide.
Getting to Dubai and Jebel Ali
Many flights function to Dubai International Airport from various cities across the world. One of the most convenient ways to navigate from there is to use the metro service. This covers many areas where some of the best resort hotels in Dubai are located. Get on the metro at Terminal 1 or 3 and hop off at Life Pharmacy Metro Station to get to Jebel Ali. Then take a taxi to your accommodation if you use ride-hailing apps like Bold, Uber and Careem. You can get yourself dropped off at the doorstep of the place you will be staying.
Public transport options
Public transport is quite efficient in Jebel Ali. It is primarily driven by the Dubai Metro Red Line. This is a comfortable means of travelling as the metro is air-conditioned. It also passes through key areas rapidly. JA Beach Hotel Dubai is only a short drive away from two prominent metro stations, such as Energy Metro Station and Ibn Battuta. Public buses also have an extensive network and operate every 10 to 15 minutes. This is a clean and budget-friendly way to navigate the city. They also have direct connectivity to some of the top areas in the region. The Dubai Tram functions to JBR, Media City, the Palm and the Marina Mall. It is another cost-effective way to travel through the city. You can purchase a NoI Card at a metro station or a supermarket, which is a rechargeable smart card that you can use for all these public transport options.
Individual travelling
If you are travelling as a group or with a family with small children, you might prioritise comfort. Therefore, you can hail a taxi and head off to nearby areas. A ride-hailing app will bring a taxi to the place you are staying in easily. Though taxi fares are more costly than public transport, you will be able to save a few bucks when you go through those. It will also get you directly to the place you want, as you will not have to communicate with the driver. The chargers are also transparent. If you are willing to drive, you can also rent a vehicle, but make sure that your driving license and international driving permit are with you, besides your passport and visa.
Travel tips
If you have to head out to less-explored areas in Dubai, it would be helpful to download Google Maps. The RTA Dubai apps can be used for planning. Taxis can be reached in a jiffy via ride-hailing apps. Therefore, whichever option you have in mind, downloading these early will make your travel experience smoother. Traffic can occur during peak hours, such as between 7 and 9 am and 5.30 to 7.30 pm. Hence, try to avoid travelling on the road during these times. Placing yourself in an area which has public transport access close by will make your sightseeing tours run smoothly. Renting a car for long-distance travel seems the most suitable option. Remember to take along plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated during your travels on the road. This will ensure that you will have a truly enjoyable, healthy and stress-free travel experience.
